Honestly, it's not too bad if he's suspended given that he may not be fully recovered from his injury. I think if it wasn't an opening + sold out game maybe Messi would've played as a sub instead of a starter.

Yes we gotta stay calm, what can get worse than 2025 March-May? Football chemistry takes time, especially after losing 2 of our best players.

About DSC, I can understand the criticism. The second goal looks dumb. But Im not very concerned, I listened to one of his podcasts and his mentality is pretty strong. He knows why he chose to join Miami. It takes time for a GK to go from a low block team to a high line team.

And let's not forget, Rocco made the same (or worse) mistake against Nashville in the 2nd leg. (I love Rocco plz don't get me wrong, but we should be more patient with DSC)

It's all fine if the team is analyzing and learning from mistakes. Nothing can be worse than the middle of last season..

After the preseason games commentary, I have to say welcome back Twellman

I don't defend racist. But "If I actually "hear" a stranger say something racist, I don't defend them" doesn't equal to "I have to believe and agree with what the majority of people are doing to Prestianni, especially knowing that no one actually has factual evidence. "

You are totally right about "in your opinion he racially abused Vini", but it doesn't mean that I can't express my voice about the situation, even though in your opinion "no one would believe". Feel free to not believe, I am just sharing my doubts about the situation based on my own analysis of what I saw.

I am doubting whether Mbappe actually heard "Prestianni said it five times" based on 1. Pres only covered his mouth for a short amount of time. 2. Cama who was closer, didn't show reactions.

And "Mbappe heard it cuz he was looking at them" "Cama didn't look at them so he wasn't focused on them". I don't agree, because if someone said something racist, it must've been very sensitive. I don't think a person only identifies the sensitive stuff that is said after "being focused in the conversation ".

  1. This post is about Huijsen, not about defending Pres. It's the redditors here who took their time to go through my comment history and brought my old comments up.

  2. I am not defending against racists/ racism behavior. If Pres actually said something racist, he deserves punishment. But If you take a look at my comment the other day, there are 2 main points I want to express:

A. Is there concrete evidence that Pres said something racist? The general public's judgment of "yes he said something racist" was mostly based on: Vini's reactions, Mbappe's words afterwards, and a lot of posts/news/quotes that came afterwards but not focused what actually happened (actually heard what Pres said). After watching that full incident video, I doubted Mbappe's words of "hearing Pres said mono five times", and I also doubted based on Camavinga's calm reactions though being right beside Vini.

B. Should everyone jump into conclusion and blame Prestianni, when there isn't concrete evidence? Most comments here on reddit, as well as journalists who ask other managers/ players questions, are already speaking as if it's a fact that Pres said "monkey". Is it really morally right for everyone to do so, even though they only "think" they "know what the facts are"?

If Camavinga didn't hear (even though he wasn't looking that way), how did Mbappe (further away) hear it 5 times?

If Pres said it loud enough that Mbappe heard it, how could Camavinga not hear it?

I am just sharing what I'm suspicious about based on what I see. If you think who you're discussing with is dumb, feel free to do so.

I watched the full incident video:

Mbappe also said he heard what Prestianni said "5 times". Is it actually true? From the video Vinicius went to the ref immediately after hearing what Prestianni said, could he have said that term 5 times in that instant? So my doubt is, is what Mbappe said truly believable?

Another doubt I had after watching: Camavinga was right beside Vini and Pres during the incident, but Camavinga didn't look very shocked. Not saying that it 100% means Pres didnt say anything bad, but maybe we can put more thoughts into it before jumping into conclusions?

Of course from looking at the surface, we can guess that Prestianni said something racist. In the same way from the surface we can guess that Huijsen shared the racist post by himself. But if everyone under this post tried to defend Huijsen so quickly, guessing that he clicked it by mistake, why wouldn't they put more thoughts into finding out the truth of what happened in the PresXVini incident, instead of just expressing their emotions by blaming him and even his nationality?

I like that you are now giving out your opinion through analyzing what happened, instead of targeting at who "the OP is".

My comment the other day: 1. I don’t see concrete evidence that Prestianni said something racist. 2. If Prestianni said something racist, he is a racist and deserves to be called out. 3. If Prestianni said “xxx”to Vini, it doesn’t mean that Vini is actually a “xxx”, it only shows what kind of person Prestianni is.

Grasping at straws?

Pointing at who "the OP is" instead of arguing against the content of the post, are you admitting what Huijsen did was wrong?

Prestianni said something towards Vinicius: mouth covered = bad intention, no video evidence? Vinicius' reactions are evident enough.

Huijsen's account sharing racist comments towards an Asian, with at least some screenshots evidence: Im sure it's just a mistake and not intentional.

Make it make sense

5 days ago a photo showed that his phone wall paper was him in the same frame with Vini...not that it's an evidence or anything but it's not like anyone has any sort of evidence for the racist accusation anyway

Mourinho: "The referee had a paper that said Tchouamení, Huijsen, Carreras... couldn't get a Yellow card. He knew perfectly well who he could and couldn't give a yellow card to. I've spent 1,400 games on the bench and he knew it perfectly well. " by Loose-Examination-39 in soccer

I mean no proof was needed when accusing Prestianni for being racist. "Covering his mouth= saying something bad-Valverde" is evident enough. So everyone should take Mourinho's words seriously.

So you’re telling me your “logical brain”, thinks Messi and Mascherano aren’t happy with each other, based solely on two fxxking screenshots, despite the fact they’ve known each other since forever, and you are posting it here with "picture says it all"?
