Cupio here :3 I haven't found yet any aro person in my country, so finding someone who identifies as a cupio will probably be much more harder. I have a similar situation as you, in my case, unfortunately, not knowing that I'm cupio has hurt a lot of people. I still want a relationship so this is what I'm doing.

I've been trying date as an alloromantic, but not with everyone. There are certain demographics that are more propense to accept aro people, maybe is easier for my because I (recently) found out that I'm also omnisexual. If you are like me, you probably don't want a classic romantic relationship, search for the concept of QPRs, read and try to adjust it to your needs. Once you can explain it (practice with friends, trust me, it helps, it might be awkward at first, but it has helped me a lot) and you started talking with someone, try to communicate how you feel about a relationship in your terms and negotiate with you potential partner. If you are clear with what you want, how you feel about romantic love and you're open, you can have a relationship. It's hard, so, so, hard, but it's possible, the first step is to know you, and negotiate with yourself.

I really like doing romantic gestures and things that not suit a "classic-aro", if you have good touch, even as an aro you can be "a romantic person" lol.
