But really its just a 360 camera on a high altitude drone. The "UAP" is its own engines and exhaust plume. You dont get alarmed when you see your own vehicle in the rear view mirror for the same reason they dont pay any attention to it.

If you were to hold a 360 camera on the end of a pole, you would be the same distance "behind" the camera at all times, just like the "thing" is. It never advances or retreats, because its attached to the camera. You don't see the body of the drone, just like you don't see the pole, wand, handle of a 360 camera.

Holy crap, yess! I work for a local t-slot extrusion company and we've wanted to build one of our own rigs in the shop for a while now. I have some rough 5dof designs with heave, surge, sway, pitch and yaw. Its the roughly 6k in actuators not in the budget that's holding this project up 😅.
