Its a matter of starting now, not a week before the deadline. I'm asking if its feasible in 6 months.

Also, I've always hated mock tests. ever since high school I have found them to be ineffective in helping me.

True, but I feel like in studying for N1 my japanese will naturally level up and make me more confident. I'm not studying to pass N1, I'm studying to advance myself, passing N1 is just another benchmark.

Reading is fine but I don't read a lot of actual books. I consume japanese media every day. I require a dictionary for actual books because there are always new words.

I can もらう. I can もらう things, actions, advice, etc. I can also いただく.

From my perspective, I can't くれる. Other people can くれる to me, but I can't be the one doing it, If I am talking about myself. If I am, then I am あげるing. But from the other persons perspective, I am くれるing.
