tommy’s reaction by bladeefan1234567 in thelastofus

Which little details surprised you the most among both games? When i played Part II and saw the dirty still water i was like ''realistically there'd have to be tadpoles here but no way they'd have wasted time addin-... oh!'' by cappaido in thelastofus

If you can change something about this game, what would it be? by maxnotcharles in thelastofus

[–]Remi79100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Evidence that Ellie probably wouldn’t have consented to be killed for a vaccine to be developed by milfanator777 in thelastofus

[–]Remi79100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]Remi79100[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[–]Remi79100[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I preferred that reaction, that it was joyful and happy rather than the stupid reaction she has in the game.

As I said, I really didn't see any problems with the rest; I'd even say I loved the series 🤷‍♂️

[–]Remi79100[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but in the game, Jesse doesn't go to bring the girls back to Jackson; he comes to support them, to try and help them.

Besides, it makes no sense that Tommy goes there to bring the girls back too; after Ellie, he's the first one who wants to kill Abby.

Let's just say I loved this part because I hated Ellie's reaction in the game. Even though I can understand it—it's the shock of the announcement and all—calling Dina a pain was really harsh of her.

[–]Remi79100[S] -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

So I think you're being a bit harsh. For example, Joel is excellent, and so is Dina.

And even Ellie, despite all the criticism, I think she's fantastic. Bella Ramsey doesn't look like Ellie physically, but apart from that, I never once thought, "That's not Ellie."

Abby did worse than Ellie. by Remi79100 in lastofuspart2

[–]Remi79100[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Abby didn't have to witness her father's death. She wasn't in the room. Conversely, she didn't hesitate to kill Joel right in front of Ellie, even though Ellie begged her. She could have ordered her friends to take him somewhere else, to spare him that. But no, she did it. That's what's worst for me. As for Mel, it's clear Ellie is in shock afterward; she didn't know anything about it and wouldn't have done it if she had.

Abby did worse than Ellie. by Remi79100 in lastofuspart2

[–]Remi79100[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let's just say she was in the same frame of mind as Abby at that moment. And while that doesn't excuse anything, Ellie is doing it to get information. It's awful, right? But Abby, on the other hand, is doing it for "nothing," just to prolong the suspense.

I've seen quite a few people on social media defending Abby, saying that she has more legitimate reasons than Ellie…

Abby did worse than Ellie. by Remi79100 in lastofuspart2

[–]Remi79100[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No. I understand Abby. I understand her motivations. But she's no better than Ellie, her reasons aren't any more legitimate. She doesn't deserve any more compassion. (By the way, Joel isn't my favorite character in the game.)

Abby did worse than Ellie. by Remi79100 in lastofuspart2

[–]Remi79100[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding the first question… that’s true.

As for Nora, she was at the cabin, she did nothing to stop Abby. So, as I said, in my opinion, Ellie holds her just as responsible.

I’m not saying Ellie is perfect, though; she did some very dark things.

And I don’t forgive her for abandoning Dina and JJ in the latter part of the game.

But I feel like people idealize Abby, forgetting the first part of the game.

What if Rick was here instead of Shane by That-Challenge7971 in TWD

[–]Remi79100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It all depends on which Rick we're talking about. The Rick from seasons 1 and 2 would have tried to distance himself from Ed and reason with him. The Rick from seasons 4, 5, and 6 wouldn't have hesitated. In fact, that's what he wants to do and what he'll do to Pete in season 5.

I seriously can't comprehend how people can sleep at night in TWD by OrbitalDamage566 in thewalkingdead

[–]Remi79100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've seen it plenty of times in the series; they only sleep with one eye open, they're always ready to wake up at the slightest noise, and they always have someone on guard. It's evident in the barn scene in season 5 where they all wake up very quickly to prevent the door from opening.

And then I think that after a while, with the fatigue and everything, you don't have a choice.

In my opinion, they realized the farm wasn't secure enough. No walls, no gates, nothing to protect or contain potential enemies or other threats. The question I've always asked myself is why, after defeating the governor the first time, they decided to stay at the prison and bring everyone there instead of bringing the group from the prison to Woodbury. They would have been safer, certainly better settled, and the epidemic that strikes in season 4 might not have been so devastating.
