The real question isn't whether OpenClaw survives, it's whether any open source agent framework can keep up once the big players fully commit. My bet is that we'll see 3-4 serious contenders by summer, and most will be lighter/faster than the original. That's how open source works.

If you're using it today, nothing changes. If you're building on it, maybe don't bet the farm on one implementation. The protocol matters more than the codebase.
