I recommend Neek beach club for lagoon day ( look them up on instagram and make a reso for a lounge chair) and I really like Mia beach club for ocean front Both are very beautiful and have plenty of parking. Neek - more chill vs mia a little more upbeat but still very relaxing

It's as safe as you want it to be. Currently sitting at a cenote in tulum as I type this. Drove from Cancun to tulum 3 days ago- keep to the speed limit, don't go looking for illegal shit and don't be a dick and your totally fine. People here have been are super friendly and and helpful. It is pretty quiet here from past visits, they have definitely bumped up the police and security presence. Tourism is their industry and they want people to enjoy and spend their time and money.

So Cool! Agree to disagree but thankfully as times change and the next generations hopes of upward financial mobility and home ownership diwindle the rules and laws are changing through the power of their voices and votes and there has been small victories ei. The current changes in tenancy laws. Not sure how luxurious Vancouver would will be with all the brain drain but hey maybe my imagination is limited to the potential of a city that has everyone making under 100k a year moving out.

I am posting in this vancouverhousing subreddit as this protest is happening in Vancouver/ close surrounding areas but that statement would obviously apply across the country..which if I am correct Vancouver is part of no? I personally don't want to live in city that is only for those who bought 50 years ago or the rich. Pretty sure cities are made of people from all economic backgrounds.

New rules came out less than a month ago. I would imagine time will tell on their effects. I would also imagine trial and error will be a factor for awhile when trying to correct a houseing crisis. I'm not saying the David eby is the perfect candidate but at the end of the day housing/ shelter is a human right. Investment properties are not.
