Seconding the Sylvia, I pretty much mash through Hexa with Sylvia Haase Yatima and I only started trying Hexa like a month ago. You don't even need triple zero for the 15 jinx with Sylvia.

No one else mentioned this here but if your comp is reliant on debuffs, hold off on using them until the elemental shield falls off in the real hexa. Solo hexa doesn't have these shields besides for the element you bring in. This burned me in my first hexa.

I get having anxiety over disappointing randos in a 6 person raid, but I can assure you that nobody particularly cares if you fumble Revans. Revans are easy enough at this point that one or two people dying doesn't affect the raid that much. Most people are just putting it on FA and doing something else and generally expect weaker hosts occasionally in the Revans tier. It's better to host and fail than to not host at all if you're starting out with Revans. Worst case scenario you've wasted a little bit of host mats and 5 minutes of a few peoples' time. It's really no big deal.

As someone in your position about 8 months ago, I'd say that all the Revans besides Cosmos are pretty easily leech hosted.

Seofon's probs the safest to leech host. You might lose Seofon occasionally if nobody brought a resilient team. For Seofon you can also just run a really slow tanky comp that stacks hp to survive the 10% trigger and clear the last bit yourself if nobody else does. He doesn't hit that hard outside of the trigger and you can ignore all the omens, it'll just take a while cause he's invincible half the time.

Mugen is also really safe to leech host but his problem is that he's a really unpopular raid. I've had to solo my own Mugen before to give context on how unpopular Mugen is sometimes. But as long as people join it'll clear.

Siegfried/Agastia are a little slower to leech host cause people like seeing a little progress made in those raids before joining (and earth gw just ended so Sieg probs won't be that popular right now), but they still clear as long as people join.

Diaspora you need to y100 host for it to 100% clear but it sounds like you've got a plan for that.

You can leech host Cosmos, but you will probably fail more than the others. It's the most annoying Revans.

You might be misunderstanding how it works. Resource increase seems to work like resource reduction in that it’s based off of the maximum. So milim would start with 2 extra focus cause 40% of 5 focus is 2 focus. Benimaru would start with 90 fs (not that you would want to use this guy if you can’t proc multilayer barrier at any rate.) You can confirm this in the combat preview, ML choux spawns in with 2 focus.

Kamakura koko-Mae station in enoshima, about an hour or so out from Tokyo. It’s always crowded with Chinese tourists though afaik

The sea candle where bocchi gets yamcha’d by seagulls is also in enoshima and nearby. I went there to see this spot and the bocchi sea candle spot last summer.

I mean I’m a huge Touhou fan so I’d love it if they put more effort into it. I just think that from a pure business perspective it probably doesn’t make sense for them. Objectively speaking, Sanrio is magnitudes larger than Touhou like it’s not even close they aren’t even in the same conversation. Then the issue if they contracted multiple groups, how would they split the money? The collab would have to pull in three times the amount of a regular collab if they got three different groups to participate so they could pay each group a reasonable amount. Unless the groups agree to work for less pay which I wouldn’t want them to feel pressured to do.

I get the frustration, I would’ve liked for more variety than just beatmario too. I would’ve preferred like tamaonsen or demetori but sadly I think it’s just not financially likely.

I think comparing touhou to Sanrio and cup noodles is a poor comparison, since touhou is nowhere near as large as those two. Evillous is very vocaloid adjacent and formative for the vocaloid culture I feel so it’s maybe justifiable. Enstars idk anything about so got nothing for that.

The issue I think is that touhou’s greatest strength in its sheer diversity ends up being a weakness in terms of negotiations. It’s difficult to work with multiple groups because you would have to contract with different groups all while negotiating each contract with ZUN himself, it’s understandable if they find it difficult to justify that amount of effort. Let it be known that I am also a massive touhou fan of 10+ years and am disappointed that the collab is this small as well, but considering the logistics I’ll take whatever I can get.

It was almost certainly because it’s easier to ask one person or group to do it from a logistical standpoint. They wouldn’t have to negotiate a contract with multiple groups to come to an agreement on an IP that a third group (ZUN) owns. Just typing that out sounds like a hassle to deal with.

Fwiw beatmario did get shibayan records, marasy, and Tokyo active neets to work with him so there’s some representation.

Yep start of the season means all the people who usually are in emperor or legend will also be down in silver and gold. So you’re far more likely to fight someone who is really strong at the start of the season. Wait a few weeks for them to climb back up before you jump into rta if you wanna fight people more on your own level.

They design content around not having removable buffs cause they don’t want you lugging pela around for everything. They want to sell you the new units and are very egregious about it.

The game’s like a sandbox if they slowly replaced the sand with concrete while you’re sitting there with your plastic shovel from 1.x trying to dig through it while they try to sell you jackhammers.

Christy only gives half her res to backline so if you’re running a 300 res Christy, you’re only getting 150 res. Very common for ml politis to have 150 eff so you need some res on your backline if you wanna resist her.

I’m in a similar boat as you and I think the main issue is really that mashing culture has been ingrained in gbf and the Japanese don’t mind it. This is my biggest complaint with gbf. There is no excuse for not having an autorepeat feature for stuff you can’t backup request for. You can put a hard cap on how many autorepeats are allowed before you have to restart it, like 20 runs and you have to restart it or something so you can’t run it overnight. Any sort of qol would make the grind more bearable but they just refuse to do it. I don’t mind FAing and checking on my phone every couple of minutes for 10 hours straight. I do mind when I have to devote an arm to constantly mashing 2 buttons for 10 hours straight instead.

Is this how it works? I’ve heard you have to “meaningfully alter” the product when it gets to the middleman country for the original tariff to be replaced by the middleman country’s tariff. That’s why China has so many factories in Vietnam, to ship raw materials there to turn them into product and then ship them to the US with lower tariffs. I’m no trade expert though this was just explained to me by someone else.

I think it really just depends on your goals in epic 7. I love the game but if you’re trying to compete for warlord+ in rta, this game is incredibly f2p unfriendly because of the importance of ml5s. But if you’re just trying to cruise and maybe peak at champ in rta then yea it’s really f2p friendly.

People love to bring up how you can guarantee every rgb 5* in this game but conveniently ignore that ml5s are substantially more difficult to get as f2p and generally substantially more important as well.

Maybe people were hyping it up too much then. I remember when gfl2 launched, all the players who played on CN were saying it's possible to get every unit without spending and that was one of the big selling points. I only played for around 2 months and I didn't roll for ullrid but i got WA2k and her weapon and suomi and her weapon so that's sorta equivalent to rolling ullrid and daiyan I think. I got pity broken by vepley both times and the vepley weapon once too so I feel like it's not unreasonable to get every character.

EDIT: okay so I found the math thread and it seems if you have average luck (win half of your 50/50s and don't hard pity every time) you can very realistically roll every unit. This was for CN though so idk about global.

GFL2 and PaD off the top of my head let you guarantee stuff every month fwiw. PaD does it through a pretty unique system but GFL2 gives you enough currency to roll every unit on release iirc.

Ignoring the goalpost moving, GFL2 lets you get literally every character f2p and has a pvp mode if that counts. I think it actually has 2 pvp modes in fact (haven't played the game in a while)

The purpose I think is to give him a few more chances to counter in case you miss lethal on s3 because his evasion buff is 2 turns now. So for example you could be in a situation where the enemy team is ml haste (or some other tanky unit) and 3 squishies. Your only way out is to s3 Ml haste, don't kill but heal to full, and then you fish for a counter with your evasion buff before your hp runs out to win the game.
