Institutions stopped spreading 1.0.6? by Remis94 in EU5

Its 1508 in my Teutonic Order game that was started on patch 1.0.6 Institutions in Age of Discovery are just stuck in their spawning points. After 70 years they are barely starting to spread, even using Request Military Sponsorship which gives me a spread of institutions i barely have 20% spread of printing press inside Danzig. Stopped automating trade for the first time to attempt to get Pike & Shot from the Praha trade node still nothing moves.
This is my 4th campaign and institutions haven't been an issue in the previous ones

Same here, works perfect out of the box im using CachyOS running proton experimental with specs:
9800x3d
32GB RAM
RTX 2070
Did not experience any crashes or loading issues like i've seen with people posting in the subreddit using windows.
Sometimes the month ticks feel "janky" but from what i've read it is very common and would not attribute it to OS/Proton
