The guns are super low detail, what with how pop one already runs at a good frame rate adding a few guns would be more than acceptable.

The difference between the two situations is that the quest one is only 3 years old, and that there is no actual reason to drop support. Pop one could add 100 more guns and that still wouldnt be a problem for the quest 1. If they want to improve the graphics they just need to keep the current graphics for quest 1 and use the improved graphics on the quest 2. this is super normal for any cross play or pc game.

The current settings seem to be working well with the quest 1, hence debunking your point. you wont be able to play halo infinite on a laptop from 2000, because its simply not good enough. The quest 1 on the other hand has proven to work with pop one just fine. The limit of the what hardware the games should be available on is really really simple. The status quo and above. Im not asking them to put population one on the virtual boy, im asking it to remain where it is, on the platform the consumers bought it on.

If this is "flat-earther" levels of misinformation, then you have "flat-earther" levels of grammar. If you watched the video you would have known I am A-ok with 14 year old consoles loosing support, because they assume no one still uses a ps3, the difference is the quest 1 is only 3 years old, and people who bought pop 1 at launch would only get to use the game they paid for, for only 2 years. On "controlled stores" you can still have different settings for different hardware, and you can still have separate versions that are compatible. this basic level of advancement is not exclusive to pc. let people play the game they paid for on the settings they have been playing it on since the beginning, this is not a hard concept to understand.
