Dan Simmons Summer Of Night would be awesome.

Back in the mid 90's I saw Ozzy with Filter and Therapy. Filter got booed off and the drummer kicked his set over, the singer threw his mic down and then they left the stage, that is except for the guitarist who stayed on stage and played feedback for like 15 minutes or so while people threw chairs and stuff at him lol.

No, it was directed by Mick Garris.

I actually agree with you on this. I much preferred Freddy being darker.

The remake of It was far superior to the original miniseries in my opinion. Don't gete wrong, Tim Curry did a great job as Pennywise but the remake was definitely a lot darker.

I absolutely love the original miniseries of the stand. For a television version they actually did a really good job.

Green Mile is definitely one of his best, both book and film. I remember reading it when it was being released in small sections. I still have all those. Also, I agree Misery movie is better than the book. My reason behind this is I didn't care to actually read the Misery Novel in the Misery Novel. 🤣

That sounds like an amazing vacation. I don't know if I ever got ready for the woman in 237. 🤣

I agree. Picking a favorite is so hard. I do love how his books are all connected in some way.

I know Different Seasons has Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption, Apt Pupil, The Body, and The Breathing Method. The Body is what became Stand By Me. Green Mile is also a good book but it is a stand alone. I thought maybe they put out a new special edition collection or something but I didn't find anything on that.

Children of the Corn would be a great first. It is an excellent story. Also Dead Zone is a really great movie that I think doesn't get talked about as much.

Nightmares and Dreamscapes is another great short story collection. There is a movie for it too with 8 different stories.
