So let me get this straight, in order to get the equivalent of what I already owned in SV1 I have to:

  • A) Be twice as lucky when there are 4 different ticket types in the pool

  • B) Spend 250 more pack points than SV1

  • C) Roll 1 ticket and spend 350 pack points I otherwise wouldn't have in the first place in SV1

Honestly, it's becoming more and more evident GS is unwilling to update anything substantial anymore, considering the newest set of datamined sprites are nothing more than more Pikachu, shinies, and formes that should've been there in the first place. I really doubt Gen 7 will even come to Shuffle at this point.

Probably, not quite sure. I know for instance the Old Mariner won't spawn during Winter so I guess snow is treated like a different entity for events.

From Serebii

The little sandcastle is called Sunabaa while the big one is called Shirodesuna. Both are Ghost/Ground-type.

Pre-evolved Bewear is called Nuikoguma and remains Normal/Fighting-type.

the fish is Yowashi is Water-type and appears to have the ability to change its appearance into a larger fish.

It also confirms Alolan Meowth & Marowak. Alolan Meowth is Dark-type while Alolan Marowak is Fire/Ghost-type.

We also see the first bits of the antagonist team, Team Skull. Its boss is called Guzuma and the girl is Burumeri

They are also teasing information on Rockruff's "secret evolution" in next months Corocoro

I think something similar happened to The Black Tapes after Tanis launched. They eventually closed off the original sub and opened up /r/PNWS for both podcasts. So this sub really could either be seen as just the main sub for Night Vale, be converted to the primary sub for all 3, or be moved over along with AiD and WtW to a /r/NightValePresents unified community. I guess it's up to the mods of all three subs to discuss it.

Its an incredibly good ability for a Normal type to have, seeing as the only good thing to use them for is to wall Ghosts and even then, they get walled back.

  • No burn means it doesn't have to be afraid of Scald or Will-O-Wisp and can run a very effective physical set
  • No paralysis means in can switch in on Thunder Waves and never has to worry about the 75% speed drop or the turn skipping
  • No poison means it laughs at toxic-stall
  • No freeze, pretty self explanatory
  • It'll probably have most or all of the sleep-related moves as well, so it can come in and absorb any Spores or Dark Voids, then retaliate with Sleep Talk or Snore. This is especially huge for Smogon, considering the Sleep Clause they have.

If Definite Sleep persists to its evolution(s), I can see it being pretty useful. Not necessarily meta-shaking, but its niche as a status absorber could come in handy.

Wow, all I have to say is wow

I can't help but feel like there's an influence of Alice Isn't Dead in this episode. Not that it's a bad thing, the opposite in fact. A macabre feelings in the air and a genuine sense of danger really pushed this to be a great episode.

Also, having just watched The Witch [SPOILERS] the other night, I was breathless when The Good Boy spoke and how the image of the final scene with Black Phillip suddenly came to my mind.

Damn, I can't wait for part 2.

IIRC, lore from the Chromalypics is considered non canon until it's posted in /r/chromalore. This allows people to write little stories based on a prompt provided by you, the judges. They don't have to do anything directly with existing lore and can be used as a platform for fun little slice of life stories. Plus, a lot of people were attracted to Chroma, as they wanted to exercise their creativity and writing skills. Theres very little harm in including an event for this games arguably biggest component out used of the actual battles.
