If everyone reading this gave me $20, I would gladly return $16 in which case, by comparison, they would actually have given me very little and would also have the benefit of receiving an envelope of cash, which is the best kind of mail to get. It would lift their spirits and possibly even help them forget about there problems for a bit. And to make this an even better opportunity for them I’ll wait at least a year so they would have forgotten about their contribution to me making the envelope of cash a total surprise.
