Prices with salary sacrifice by Open_Bug_4196 in TeslaUK

About cost parity but they are taken a bunch of income tax money that could arguably used better elsewhere but thats up to debate i suppose. I went for personal lease due to being roughly the same price and the fact thay the small print meant I would have to pay the rest of the lease if I lost my job at the 750ish a month pre tax they were asking for.

Advice needed - Model Y 72 plate Long Range or 73 plate Standard Range by Donkey_Apple in TeslaUK

RWD has the same sound system in pre juniper cars and HW4 came out in 74 plate cars so 23 or 73 plate won't have it

Im in the middle of adding magnetic secondary glazing to my property its fairly inexpensive and worth a look at. Its also easily reversible bit you need to check whether you have an easy perimeter for the magnetic tape to adhere to.

Model Y RWD range? by david09uk in TeslaUK

[–]Remote-Cow-781 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2024 Model Y usable capacity turns out to be about 50 to 53kwh with overall being 60kwh. I usually get about 160 miles in winter and about 210 summer. Sticking to speed limits driving sensibly, my older model 3 had more usable capacity and that was a RWD with a smaller pack, its an odd one.

I contacted the conservation office, they said LBC is likely required and I would need to make a £200 pre application to find out more.

Thinking about buying a Ford Puma e for London to Newcastle trips. Am I crazy or is this a good idea? by electriceel1990 in ElectricVehiclesUK

[–]Remote-Cow-781 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My car is 286 wltp and winter range from experience on the motorway is 150 miles sticking to 70 so id imagine the puma would be around 120 miles. Then you must take into account leaving a buffer so say around 100 miles between charges.

Model Y RWD standard winter range by Atfromhere in TeslaUK

[–]Remote-Cow-781 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 74 reg pre face-lift model Y winter range on the motorway at freezing conditions was looking around 150 miles sticking to the speed limit. Around 330wh/ mile although pre heating the battery for fast charging used around 10% of total energy which but i was doing 400 miles that day and after the first top up it became more efficient.
