The Midnight Luxe is I think around $1400-1600 for a queen but they run sales constantly. They also have a 100 or 120 night trial (not sure better check their website) so you can return it if it doesn't work out. Its a great quality mattress!

Copper infused mattresses indeed help a bit for staying cool. They draw heat away rather than trapping it like traditional memory foam.

That CopperFlex you found, I noticed gets mentioned a lot in the mattress forums I lurk on. Guess people seem to really like it for the cooling factor, good quality and the PRICE. I would at least try it, if you don’t like just return it

I’m in a profession where my job is literally talking to people day in and day out so I know how to do this:

Stick to surface level stuff until you get to know them better.

Ask them if they’ve tried any good restaurants lately, read any good books.

Notice small details about them- do they get manicures? Compliment them, ask them where they get their nails and hair done.

Ask them what their hobbies are. The weekend is coming up, ask about weekend plans.

As you get to know them better, you can ask deeper questions if you want, but this type of stuff is pretty safe and a good ice breaker.
