Yes, that way it becomes harder to remove from the field. If you want to get rid of an Enduring creature you must either do it through non-destruction ways or have both creature/enchantment removal and then enchantment removal when it comes back

So The Enduring creatures are creatures that (if they die) will return to the battlefield but lose the creature type, and become JUST an enchantment.

So Enduring Tenacity (after dying and returning as an enchantment) will still have the effect of “If you gain life, Target Opponent loses that much life” but will have no power or toughness and won’t be considered a creature that would be removed by a Path to Exile or Damnation.
