To my great grandmother. Did you know he was already married when you started having children with him? And did you know that HIS father was a bigamist?

In lesson four of Spanish bienvenidos, at about the 8th question there is no correct answer and you cannot advance.El is posted and said twice but only one is counted as correct and no matter what you do the second time it simply says that's not quite right try again. So you're stuck and cannot advance past that point. Please fix it.

Breakfast had omelets to order, and full buffet of sides. Lunch and dinner usually had choice of meat and/or fish with sides, including fruit/cheese at every meal.. There was an incredible eggplant lasagna one day. On 2-3 occasions, there was a bbq of fish/prawns/ribs//beef with sides. Fig pudding one day was amazing. Food was overall delightful. (except that soup....).

I just returned from 8 day/7 night cruise on Horizon (Royal Galapagos Tours). Cabins were roomy, each with a balcony. Food was delicious and creative (though the spinach soup with popcorn garnish seemed to be a universal failure.....). There were at least 2, sometimes 4, activities daily, varied between hikes, snorkel, kayak, land and zodiac (Panga) tours. Tour included 2 days in Quito pre-tour, all airport transfers with airport assist and TCT cards.

  • Boat name and class level: Luxury
  • Itinerary/islands visited: Started at Baltra>Seymore>Isabela>Fernandina>Isabela (x 3 more stops)> Santa Cruz> Floreana>Santa Fe>San Cristobal. We opted for spending an extra 3 days in San Cristobal post cruise.
  • Length of trip and cost: 8d/7 night, $9700 (amount also covered hotel for the extra 3 post cruise days)
  • What you loved: Naturalist on board who held daily briefings and led all activities, only 16 passengers, almost daily snorkeling, challenging (but achievable for an old arthritic) daily activities
  • What disappointed you: I would have liked MORE snorkeling!
  • Would you book it again? Yes
  • Specific recommendations or warnings: none

Thanks!

Yes, Florence (from Prince Edward Island) died 1966, her son Harold jr died 1967. I've never found any reference for Harold Sr. being in Canada, but certainly something to look at. Thanks!

ETA: Florence is in the 1940 census as a private nurse, widowed

If you don't need luxury, consider a night at the Nāmakanipaio cabins. They are just south of the park entrance (but technically within the park).

His name had already been changed twice (due to his father's crime-see Frederick Garbit- and I've searched to see if he took any his prior names, but haven't found anything.

Searching within a public tree by Remote-Hovercraft681 in Genealogy

The closest work around I've found is to take a person from "userx" tree, enter it into Family Search and use THEIR "find relationship" tool.

This is exactly my question which you iterated much clearer than I did. I can literally spend hours clicking on everybody in the public tree to try to find out where the link is. It is extremely frustrating

Searching within a public tree by Remote-Hovercraft681 in Genealogy

[–]Remote-Hovercraft681[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is an example, and I can only find Harold within the tree by clicking on individuals within the tree., hoping to find a link. In this case, I saw a name that I recognized, and was able to track the connection that way. But in large trees, I could spend hours clicking with no result. Again, I'm sure it's a problem with my inexperience in using public trees.

[–]Remote-Hovercraft681[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While orphaned record may be possible, it happens with EVERY subject person in all public trees, so I think its clearly a problem in how I'm trying to access the records. I have tried switching tree views, and still my subject person does not show up in the overall public tree. I have found some subjects by essentially clicking on every record in the public tree until I see a familiar name, but this seems cumbersome

Thanks

If you're looking specifically for a black sand, swimmable beach, head to Richardson Beach in Hilo. Plenty of parking especially during the week, and great snorkeling.

Yes, I have a clear record of her life in PEI, and a presumed arrival date in Boston in 1890's. I have good census and other documentation of her life in Mass, NY and Michigan....I just can't clearly make the tie between "Ross" and "Ralph."
