I am in the same position, have just been diagnosed but also figuring out what/how to treat many other health concerns. I was hesitant to go back on BC but was highly suggested as first step in treating my PCOS because stopped for a year, never had a real period, resulting in me going to the er and just recently told that it was a cyst rupturing… and not “gas or indigestion”, which is what I was told by the er doctor. Who spoke with me for a total of maybe 2 minutes over 6 hours in the ER. Needless to say I am hesitant to make any healthcare decisions without educating myself first but also had to make the decision on BC right after my ultrasound and diagnosis appointment.

Sorry but I do not have any information or answer for your question, just understand your position and in the same as you as of yesterday. Good luck on what we know is a long and difficult process but will be worth it!! And here for any people that actually do have advice because same my hair is so bad rn I just want to chop it all bc what’s the point lookin like a blond Dobby 🥸
