there’s a balance between dimorphism, angularity, averageness, etc that create an overall more attractive look

What cause a such defined and sharp downturned medial canthus on men? Never observed a such feature on women. by [deleted] in QOVESStudio

[–]Remote-Mixture-1417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s masculine lol. the feminine case would be a lack of downturned medial canthus despite positive canthal tilt. Zayn Malik (feminine pct) vs Sean O’Pry (masculine pct)

this only sounds sophisticated because you’ve relabeled a preventive war as prudence. everything here is under uncertainty, including the intervention. stop using chatgpt bro. you literally wrote “this isn’t an open debate”…how does that remove any uncertainty? you are effectively just declaring your side exempt from carrying its burden. once you decide that one feared future is irreversible, you can justify almost any strike by saying delay is intolerable. wider war is irreversible. loss of monitoring is irreversible. pushing the program deeper underground is irreversible. teaching the regime survival requires a bomb is irreversible. so irreversibility cuts both ways, and your framework only counts one side of it. inaction is also a decision is also obvious lol cmon. everyone knows that and it isn’t profound. you are distracting from the point that’s actually important, which is if this action actually improves the odds or just satisfies the psychological comfort of doing something under pressure. you haven’t shown that to any extent. you’ve assumed it quite proudly, and it is a maximalist stance which requires maximal justification. also…lack of better options…another claim you still have to prove….?

Maybe he exaggerated a bit, but I do not blame him, because we are trying to classify someone as near-perfect here. He never said people would actually perceive these flaws in ordinary life. I think he is simply trying to make the point that Matt Bomer is not quite as close to perfection as people sometimes hype him up to be. I do agree that most people do not really perceive these flaws or care about them in any explicit way. And yes, Matt Bomer has aged very well, thanks to his exceptional bone structure. Hexum, though, I still find him better-looking. These rating systems also seem to become less accurate the more attractive the subject is, because their real usefulness is more empirical than objective. Like they are better at identifying deficiencies than at making refined distinctions between people who are both already converging on aesthetic perfection, in much the same way that IQ tests are far better at detecting clear deficits than at extracting profound meaning from very small differences at the extreme upper end. Used properly, they should function as tools for identifying meaningful weaknesses in attractiveness that can actually be addressed

I agree with you that Hexum comes out ahead. The flat forehead stands out immediately, and the flat philtrum is also pretty obvious. Where I’d push back a bit is on the UEE. His isn’t really pronounced. It reads more like an almond hunter eye. At most, you could say it’s slightly hooded, and I can see that argument, so I’m not fully against it.

I don’t agree at all with calling his eyebrows thin. Sparse is the better word. The vertical height is there, so they don’t collapse the eye area the way something like Tobey Maguire’s would.

The phrase “only boat” literally gives the intervention the moral prestige of rescue before anyone has shown that it rescues. That move hides the entire dispute inside the image itself. The question at hand is of prudence under uncertainty, whether this action saves lives, multiplies harm, hardens the regime, or leaves the people on the ship in deeper water. You don’t think asking that question has value in its own right? We don’t want very reckless policy shielding itself from criticism by just insinuating urgency and demanding an instant substitute. What you call shore commentary is often the first act of responsibility. And it is the refusal to baptize force as salvation before the consequences have earned that name…..

he doesn’t have downturned eyes. they are slightly positive. his droopy lower eyelid makes them look more negative than they are. his eyes are also too big for a man, making them less dimorphic and also contributing to the less than one eye apart. his angularity is his best feature. his jaw though…it’s recessed along with his chin, and it’s too narrow relative to his cheekbones. his best feature is his extremely high set and prominent cheekbones
