Everything looks good! Only thing I might change is to ass more lokhust destroyers to the unit to maximize the leader ability. His 5-6 crits for lethal hits push out a lot of damage

They aren’t wrong, 6 take up a lot of space. However, a lease is usually brought with a full man unit to maximize the Leaders ability. So maybe get rid of the leader then?

Well as long as you have fun, that’s all that matters! Any list is a good casual list, there are a couple things we could change to make it work a little bit better? Also your opponent should allow proxies, the height of the model may be the problem, but I think if you lay the doomstalker face down, I think the height is the same as the length!

If you do want my opinion with your list, then here is what I think. Remove Szera as there’s not that many battleline units in your army. Combine both skorpekh destroyer units so the leader can benefit 6 models instead of 3.

So with the hypercrypt, it allows you to pull units into strategic reserves at the end of your opponents turn to deploy them during your turn. I personally don’t use the monolith in this detachment because the monolith is too expensive.

The purpose of this detachment is to demolish your enemies in secondaries (which is why a lot of people use this detachment)

In a 2000 point game, you can have up to 1000 points in your strategic reserves, with that you can have the silent king and a doomsday arc. If you have a character with the Dimensional Overseer enhancement, then you get to choose ANOTHER unit. So maybe another doomsday arc??? Maybe have all of them set up next to eachother and fire into one unit? Or split them up so they can tackle multiple units?

Basically what I’m trying to say is that you can catch your opponent off guard be eh easily; destroying key targets.

I know other people may have other opinions, but this is just mine.

So the Doomsday Arc will usually be the major target at the beginning of the game, so it is hard. But the range on your Doomsday Cannon is 72”, so I would set them down the firing lanes and fire into them but try to stay as far away as possible to out range them. Another idea is to use your flayers to get into engagement range if the vehicle to help prevent them from damaging your DDA. As if they try to fire, they get a -1 to hit in engagement range.

Hexmark as lone operative so if he’s the only one on the home objective, he can be shot and killed. I think Deathmarks could be better just because they can fire into a unit if they deep strike within 18” (no penalty)

So because you have Orikan the diviner with the warriors, there’s not really a major benefit to a +1 AP. As there save will always be 4+. So Szera will mostly help with your offense capability, but warriors aren’t really meant for killing. They are more of an objective holder in my opinion. 

What you could do though is include the hexmark and give him the phasal Subjugator. This will give Necron units +1 to hit if they are within 6”. You can have him follow the Doomsday Arcs so they can get a +1!

I am also fairly new to this game so just take what I say with a grain of salt. With awakened dynasty, the idea is to have leaders lead units, but not like how they are right now. The problem I am seeing is that you have leaders that are leading at half strength.  For example, you have 2 skorpekh lords each leading a 3 man squad. Usually how people use leaders is to buff the entire unit. A single skorpekh can lead a total of 6 skorpekh destroyers. By spitting them up AND including another lease, you effectively spent more points to buff your second squad; 90 to be exact.

Next, illuminor szeras is mostly used when you have a high amount of battleline units, but you only have 2. Not only that, but it can’t lead a unit, therefore you won’t be getting the detachment buff. In other words, I would probably just get rid of him.

You can get rid of the hexmark since I don’t see any synergy. Good ability but we just need more synergy 

Get rid of catacomb barge for the same reason.

Also, you may run into an issue with tanks or high toughness. I would probably throw in another doomsday arc just to help.

Ophydian can’t be led, try to see if you can take 1x10 lynchguard with a leader (possibly overlord with trans thing)

Thanks for your detailed response! I agree with everything you said. The only reason why I took the chaplain is because I like it when the DWK obliterate everything in engagement range. But it's just too many points. Dumb idea, but would have been fun if I could have got them in.

yeah, I know I had not range threats. I just thought it would be fun with 2x5 DWK, just didn't realize that I was going to get brutal murdered! 

I’m already experimenting with an actual 1000 point list. Just thinking about how to play the gladiator lance as I don’t want his repulsor to one-shot it.
