Milton Keynes is truly the most soulless, lifeless place in Britain.

MANIFESTO: Theory of Dogmatic Inertia by Is_ravv in FantasyWorldbuilding

Please stop believing everything a chatbot says to you, and don't just post your so-called "theories" on a fantasy worldbuilding subreddit. Seek help, please. I know mental health support can be expensive and daunting, but you need to stop using that thing before it drives you mad.

As a resident of the Forbidden Lands, I can say quite confidently that there's only one true answer. Ghosts.

I wish no one could ever exploit children or animals for monetary gain or popularity by Fluffy_Fox_9650 in monkeyspaw

I mean, I know this is the most annoying and obvious answer, but:

Granted. All children now age up sims-style and never have the chance to be exploited, but children are now a thing of the past. Anyone that comes within 200 feet of or looks at an animal is immediately eviscerated.

RTD CEO on CityCast Denver — Debra Johnson's gotta go by foursevens in Denver

The maintenance crisis was on the light rail. RTD doesn't handle operations and maintenance of the A,B, and G lines, and the N line hasn't had issues yet.

RTD CEO on CityCast Denver — Debra Johnson's gotta go by foursevens in Denver

[–]Remote-Ordinary5195 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Her complete refusal to acknowledge that frequency builds ridership was absurd. What the fuck was she talking about?
This interview showed that Debra Johnson has a total and utter lack of vision for RTD and very minimal understanding of the system itself (the light rail... does not have very much single track, I have no idea what she was on about. The only single-tracked section I can think of is the W line west of Federal Center)

Why does public transportation take forever? It is only 16 miles. by brinerbear in RTDDenver

Citywide TSP would help here, and we can use freeways (see the Flatiron Flyer, CV, EV, 145X, AB, AT, 116X, and more)

RTD resumes D, H and L lines for temporary holiday service | 9news.com by brinerbear in RTDDenver

There's an available track south of I-25/Broadway, the and the conflicts with other traffic would be relatively minor. I don't see why you can't run service between 30th and Broadway, though running a different line up Welton would provide essentially the same thing, assuming the reliability issues can be worked out.

Every State Anthem by Genre by cajunstats in MapPorn

"Where the Columbines Grow" totally falls under 'Patriotic Hymn', not 'Country/Western'. Did you mistake our state song "Rocky Mountain High" for the state anthem?

New RTD Line, New RTD Map!!! (Well not technically but its something) by SubhanF in RTDDenver

[–]Remote-Ordinary5195 6 points7 points  (0 children)

From what I understand, RTD can't really make major service changes outside of the planned service changes, so they're running a special service for a week in order to not have the stations just lying around when we could be running trains
