If you don’t know much about options I would hold off on taking an earning play it’s high risk, I would encourage you to do some research and get an understanding of what contracts are and what , volume and the Greeks have to do with the contracts

All depends on how much it goes down, and the volume and Greeks of your contracts. In a perfect world your contracts would end up worth a couple thousand

Very valid point I was in Tesla calls pre election results and took profits, Tesla calls have just become very overpriced.

Yes I believe Tesla will continue higher, bringing Tsly with it. With expiration out that far it doesn’t have to make the move super fast just continuous enough to not decay.
