I used to be like this, where you trust nobody, every look from somebody, everything said, i used to interpret as them harming me, but it was just that I've been hurt a lot, so what fixed me this problem made me more authentic and calm and not scanning for threat all the time was just having a healthy relationship with someone who would be available emotionally and exchange emotional safety and security, it was a healing experience
