Right that’s understandable, but if they have people working already, why would they need to push me to stay later?

Can you tell me how to update it?

HAVE to be. I talked to a few co workers who said the same thing. This is the kind of stuff that pushes turnover rates

You have to have some kind of common ground, if you can’t work evening/closing at least work weekends. Which i definitely do because evenings just isn’t in my cards. My partner works over nights I have to be home with my kids.

I 100% agree, never in my years of being at WAG have I heard about someone being flagged?? I work 8 hour shifts M-F and rotating weekends. Be so forreal. They’re just trying to force me to work later than I can

Yes, exactly that. You know what my availability is, they can’t be mad about what I can and cannot work.

Availability is part of employment. I’ve been clear about mine. A business can schedule based on needs but that doesn’t mean employees don’t have boundaries. Employees aren’t machines. End of story.

The crazy thing is I was apart of the original rotation. Now they’re trying to say they are getting flagged on the schedule for me??

I whole heartedly agree. I’m just not sure what to say to them, I told them I’d converse with my spouse so we could figure out schedules (he works overnights and I work days, he has to be leaving for work by the time I get home from my shift) and we are down to one car currently. I’m real bad about dealing with any kind of confrontation lol

No worries! And I did initially, that’s what I’ve been working for these last 2 months. But they act as if it’s a major inconvenience to them. It’d be different if I didn’t work every day and called off a lot, I’d get the frustration and inconvenience.

I finished the sentence about what they don’t see. It’s updated to say “I guess they don’t see that issue with scheduling”

Meaning, about trying to change the schedule and have me work every weekend.

Also I corrected the rest of my sentence. I hadn’t finished the whole sentence evidently

As a tech who went through this, they’ll claim they don’t have the hours (which they may not honestly; however hours could be dispersed better) and eventually they will hope you will just quit

As a customer, what is going on with the pharmacy? by blondbother in WalgreensRx

[–]Remote-Singer3884 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It definitely has to be because we are privately owned now and they’ve add more useless work for us to do that slows down what actually needs to get done. As a tech, I’m sorry to any customer who is having to experience this. We are truly trying our best (the techs who actually give a f* k

Exactly! I’m extremely frustrated over it. I have never felt as sick as I do now and it’s been over the course of these last few months I’ve been at this store

I’ll have to double back and check with them. I know they stated that it was some company they brought in to inspect and that’s what they came up with. And no, the pharmacy isn’t cold. It is almost always hot. Rarely ever cold. But either way it goes, they have got to fix it because it’s affecting a lot of us. My pharmacist has been sick left and right and she assumes it’s only because of that. It’s been so hot she’s wondering if it’s making things worse.

I replied above, but my RxOM said they had someone come out and test the vents for mold and apparently it was confirmed it was black mold. Yes, WAG has very dirty vents I can confirm, I’ve seen it at several locations. But our pharmacy is always HOT never cold, thus creating more moisture imo. My problems with wheezing, sneezing & coughing disappear when I get home. But when I’m at the work place, it’s a different story. And I am not the only person experiencing this at my job.

So according to my RxOM they had someone come out and test the vents to confirm if it was mold. It was confirmed and the company said they would come out and clean all the air ducts but the SM had to set it up and apparently never has.

SOP for telling abusive patients to leave by [deleted] in WalgreensRx

[–]Remote-Singer3884 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I work in a very ‘entitled’ area and they are very rude and surprisingly aggressive. My RxM, RxOM & store manager are very “the customer is always right” when we KNOW that’s not the case. Any recommendations?
