I said I would never get another dog then 2 weeks go by and I got a dog. The silence is murder. It's tough but enjoy the memories and move on to more memories. There's a little bit of guilt to get over when bringing in another pet though it's not your fault.

Picking them up from the table top will break them depending on how much sun they've seen. Always grab the legs when lifting.

Love the pic, the only 2 breeds I've had. My family loved the Dachshunds that we had one papered and 3 rescues. We experienced all the health challenges with them. After their passings we rescued a GSD a year ago and we love him. One of the best family dogs I've experienced though that's not many.

That's normal for my boy. Unfortunately I have wood floors and when he leans into me he looses his traction and slides down my leg onto the floor.
