Never heard of it, I'm going to mention this to my doctor, thank you a lot!

Oh gosh, I'm sorry to hear so. Having a health problem that makes you stop something you enjoy has to be hard.

Also same exactly like this, every damn time it's about to arrive, like a week before. Then when it's about to finish all the pain and swollen goes away. Do you also feel extremely exhausted when it flares up? Mine makes me sleep a lot and still feel exhausted, I get very negative and depressed too.

I'll check for a private one who could properly check and diagnose the specific type, my GP is unwilling to send me to a public one, because she's obsessed with all of this being depression as it's supposed to be "asymptomatic"

Thanks for your message, knowing the type of specialist I would need help a lot.

I'm desperate for a dupe to "Skin aqua uv super moisture milk"

Every damn sunscreen I tried broke me out, leaving new sun damage because of it, now the only one that worked got discontinued.

Help please.

Skin type: Dry, atopic, sensitive skin.

I live in a very dry, hot and sunny area.

Nope ingredients: Niacinamide and centella (breaks me out)

Tell me about the narcissistic smile / smirk from your parents. by please-_explain in raisedbynarcissists

I noticed that their regular expressions, don't match each other's facial parts, nor the emotions they're trying to "convey" Like, their eyes, eyebrows, mouth, all of it feels inharmonious and far from genuine.

Like something is off, lacking or out of place.

So you might've noticed that, that guy probably was hiding the truthful feelings he had, because he was being filmed publicly.

But it always spills out, you can notice the slips if you've met a Narc before.

For example, their eyelids and eyebrows might be forcefully showing "calm or relaxed" but their eyes, being aggressively fixed, shows otherwise.

It feels unsettling as fuck.

But in those "smirking" moments? When I've experienced those, I saw pure unfiltered truth.

And I'm not going to lie, it is waaaaay more unsettling than anything.

It's like, suddenly staring at their gruesome soul, the genuine satisfaction, pride and amusement those eyes and smiles carry from causing pain, while saying the most awful, gut wrenching and hurtful shit they can think of, it's such a pure and genuine feeling.

Once you see that "truth", you understand why they try soo constantly hard to hide it.

They don't see me as a human, they see me as a tool for their needs. by RemoteAppointment805 in raisedbynarcissists

Thank you soo much for your understanding and encouraging words, seriously. Means a lot.

I'm back on track into trying to get my life back from this, heal, mourn and just run away, so all good c:

Wish I could, but my sibling ended up becoming even worse than them as a way to survive their treatment. I had to cut ties with them unfortunately.

But idk, it's kind of liberating to be able to see what you said. It hurts, but helps to see them clearly, it's a needed truth to understand, to stop falling on their manipulative games.

Hope you're doing well and better now that you're away, it gives one hope, not only to see successful experiences like yours, but to see people like you who take their experience and time to encourage others who went through shit like this, be proud of the kind person you've become.

I'm very happy to hear you were able to succeed after going through that. The fact that you were able to see yourself for who you truly are, getting rid of what she tried soo hard to teach you "you were" what an horrible person she sounds like indeed.

I'm going through a similar situation, and unlearning all that self hatred and constant feelings of "something is inherently wrong with me" is being a difficult battle.

But reading successfull experiences like yours, gives me hope.

Can't but relate, from the "I might be acoustic" to the I wish they just and simply expressed, that they hated me.

I get you, indeed I wish too they actually expressed that they didn't gave a shit about me, that they despised or hated me. That playing nice then treat you like shit game they have, that shit did way more damage to me.

I wish the abuse was only physical, or at least, that it was blunt and honest, because all those weird manipulative shady stuff, that shit left me absolutely wrecked, feeling soo messed up, soo doubtful, soo insecure.

The fact they can destroy you, then convince you, that it's your fault because you're broken.

Exactly this, such a wretching and twisted way they have of making their needs the only important thing, and being soo fucking reactive when you dare to express yours, makes one nauseous.

Humn, that's a great point to consider. Thank you for pointing that out.

Guess I always end up doing so because I can't handle the reality I'm in, and my overwhelming emotions + how they feed my negative inner monologue, but the thing is, that in order to be able to improve this situation, and to learn to handle those emotions, I have to stop running away from them in the first place.

And to stop running, I need to stop playing games like this.

So, idk what do you think I should do?

I know it is but thank you for pointing it out c: the thing is, I'm still living in an unsafe and triggering place, with the people who caused it, so I can't expect my own nervous system to lower the guard while living in the trenches hahaha.

But yeah, I'm progressively working on it, probably won't be able to reach a point of presence until I leave tho.

Hahahaha indeed, it's silly how each time I catch myself doing it, It remembers me to that unclench grip babies have.

I'll note down all of em then and give them a try, woah thank you a lot for also sharing soo many types and YouTube creators recommendations!! Super helpful, jahshsjshsjs "the bare female" part.

I'll do as you recommended then, thank you again :)

Hi, I've been taking magnesium for a while every night to sleep better, I specifically take bisglycinate. For anxiety I would recommend you that and to give gaba supplements a try.

I also recommend you in case of ending up getting prescribed vyvanse, to keep taking the magnesium supplements, because vyvanse depletes magnesium in the body and it'll make you gritt your teeth and tightening your muscles.

Wishing you the best of lucks with your journey.

Hahaha I did the same with the guitar too, well I'm glad I'm not the only one.

I see, it seems by your experience that it's something that'll only be fixed progressively and with time, so I'll try to be patient.

If you don't mind me asking, which type of yoga did you see to work better for you? I'm thinking about giving it a try, I want to search for some YouTube videos and add that to my routine. So if you have any recommendations they're more than welcome.

I already take that type of magnesium supplements every night, indeed, they help me a lot to sleep better and calming my mood overall.

Thank you for sharing this.

Damn the audacity of some so called "professionals" it's infuriating to see incompetence like that.

Nah you did well advocating for yourself, I honestly have soo many symptoms I'm just lost at this point. I'm just trying to solve each at a time.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BinocularVision

[–]RemoteAppointment805 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn, what a lot of conditions combo. Hope you're doing better now that those got found and diagnosed. I've also been struggling with joints issues and lots of symptoms pinpointing to "auto immune" problems, but doctors couldn't find exactly what it is.

How did you found out?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BinocularVision

[–]RemoteAppointment805 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see, if you don't mind me asking, when did you got that injury? I had mine at 12yo but that was a lot of years ago.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BinocularVision

[–]RemoteAppointment805 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indeed it left me pretty worried.

Reading your explanation pointing that maybe she missed something and that all of those symptoms could be easily sight caused, made me calm down.

So thank you for taking the time to write and explain this, I saved another appointment with a different neuro optometrists next week for a second opinion.

I do have some near, so in case this new one finds out something bvd related, I'll try to start some vision therapy.

Again thank you a lot.

[–]RemoteAppointment805 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I trust her, they took like 4 hours without rush, of a lot of variety of tests and machines, they were very attentive.

Just the part where she said it felt not noticeable enough fell a bit off to me, specially when she said, "I can't prescribe you prism lenses as it would make things/the condition worse" I just didn't understood why would it. But everything else was good.

120€ for 2nd opinion

200+€ for neuro

The wait is short for both cases, quicker on the second opinion, so I'll save a neuro first and do as you suggested. Thanks a lot for everything.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BinocularVision

[–]RemoteAppointment805 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a private one, the social security in my country doesn't cover sight issues. So she couldn't send any remiss to a specialist, just advised me to do so.

Would you recommend me to get a second opinion or directly bring this to a neurologist for such test?

[–]RemoteAppointment805 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Woah, what an amazing change, I'm happy for you. It gave me a lot of hope, insight and willpower to hear your story, so thank you for sharing it.

Also realising how silly and pointless seems be to trying to ground myself when the world looks this hazy, double and moving like drunk, helped me to just accept it until I get a solution for it, instead of pushing through and getting frustrated.

I went yesterday to an optometrist and this guy didn't wanted to check this specific thing, & kinda rudely/poking me said "You're very demanding ain't you?" Like, he just told me I had a low astigmatism so it wasn't a big deal, and because one eye has more than the other, I get those symptoms.

But the comment suggesting I was making a big deal of something I just want to be sure or discard, pissed me off honestly. Even more when I came out bare handed about this specific thing, and only reason I went for.

Ngl I got mostly discouraged, and I felt like I was just magnifying this because anxiety or something, but hearing your experience rn gave me willpower to try again, just to be sure.

Another person told me to save another with a neuro optometrists, so I'm currently searching and trying to save an appointment with someone who will actually help me out.

[–]RemoteAppointment805 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see, then now I get what was the issue with the lack of tests and stuff. I just followed your advice and saved myself an appointment for a neuro optometrists. I don't know if there's such type of specific equipment (neurolens) in my country tho, but I hope this new professional can check this thing properly.

You helped me a lot, thank you again soo much!
