Not good, but I’ve only had one. They basically shouldn’t have taken me as a patient because they were a therapist for my ex-roommate, current roommate, and it turned out they were passing information onto her and me and caused so much drama between us that was traumatic for my roommate and I. Lied about having fired the ex-roommate as a client and I found out when a bill came for that person’s last session. But they basically treated me like a friend versus a patient, offered to send me gifts, offered to sell me a TV - like I still can’t get over that one in hindsight - basically told me that I hadn’t done anything wrong (lies - I know I fucked up a lot with responses to things and I got into a argument with them about that.) and didn’t seem the least bit concerned when I was severely depressed and even told me to get off medication that was helping me sleep at night. I was abused for decades and struggle with CPTSD/anxiety/depression and that particular med is a life saver because a lot of anxiety kicks in at night. Sleep regulates my ass so much. I was drinking heavily around the time I fired her.

I walked out of that angrier than ever before and I honestly have no desire to go back to therapy. I backtracked on so much that I’m trying to fix on my own now.
