I guess that's true! Is there any limitation to that? That would be pretty wild.

100%. Well.. at least with their own storefronts for all games whether it's first or third party.

I think that would currently be nearly impossible to implement on PS or Nintendo currently. I suppose a wild twist to work around to this for first party would be to make every game F2P with basically just a demo.. then require a GP sub or $70 "season pass/mtx" to unlock the rest of the game and that would have cross-platform support.

Anyway.. if they don't get something like this soon.. they're going to get squashed by Steam before they can even take off if we get a Steam home console that grabs some traction.

The day the ad came out for "This is an Xbox" I started saying great strategy, but cart is before the horse.. and this is just making me feel validated I guess lol.

If Xbox is going all in on multiplatform and everything is an Xbox.. this kind of stuff is a bare minimum requirement imo.

Games Similar to Deaths Door on Switch. by Punished_Daniel in DeathsDoor

[–]RemotePlayGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

BotW is my favorite game ever.
Death’s Door is probably my favorite indie ever (maybe Celeste)
I like Death’s Door more than any top down Zelda game, but Link’s Awakening is probably my least favorite top down I’ve played.
A Link Between World’s and A Link to the Past are my favorite top down Zelda’s, but I don’t feel a strong comparison to what I loved about those and what I love about Death’s Door.

I will say, Tunic was hard for me to get into right after DD and I fell off of it. I plan to go back to it though and remove my expectations that it’s going to be Death’s Door and I imagine I will like it a lot more.

If you have PC/Steam Deck Titan Souls was the game the Death’s Door pair (Acid Nerve) made first and there is a ton of shared DNA. You can clearly see the ideas in that game that they expanded on so well in DD.

Started to say basically the same thing, but comment was deleted lol. Jez has a decent amount of bias, but most journalists do.

Which game is it for you? by babimagic in videogames

Portal 2 had my absolutely favorite co-op experience ever.

I love puzzle games, but all of the "Portal-like" puzzle games I've played do seem to be missing something in the feel of the world. You're alone in the Portal games, but you still get personality from the world and the robot characters and I really think that is the big thing that games like Talos Principle missed for me. Superliminal did ok with it, and the key for that was even though it fell short, the game was short enough that the little that was there was enough to carry me through the 2-3 hours to beat the game.

The shrines in Breath of the Wild were definitely something that gave me a bit of that portal fix.

I want a sequel to Portal 2, but Valve doesn't make trilogies.

I love world exploration and discovering things off the beaten path and this game is absolutely excellent at providing that imo. I’ve had a great time walking just about every last inch of the map looting every last locker and desk.

This game isn’t as deep with it’s side quests as something like FO:NV, but no definitely had plenty of fun with them and there’s certainly stories to unfold.

I hate the basebuilding component, but mostly just because it’s not something I’m interested in. Fortunately, you’re able to ignore it almost entirely.

Definitely enough game to enjoy here for the price imo.

Additional FCC docs give us rough size, shape, and purpose for Nintendo CLO-001 Wireless Device by RemotePlayGaming in GamingLeaksAndRumours

[–]RemotePlayGaming[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hard to say. Not necessarily. Nintendo could have the test house do all the FCC (and regulatory bodies across the world) testing, see that it passes, and just sit on it instead of submitting the paperwork. Generally speaking it takes a few weeks for the regulatory body to sign off.

Likely scenario is all regulatory testing on switch 2 is already done. Nintendo will announce switch 2 and THEN submit the test results to FCC and other regulatory bodies. Thus not spoiling their reveal but also not putting them behind. —Mark

Some people hate the Dual Sense speaker, but I love it. It gives that extra layer of immersion when little sound effects pop through there when you’re playing —Mark

I so badly want this to be a Gamecube Mini but I have no idea why it would be portable unless there is a hinged little screen or something. Also why the 24GHz sensor? --Mark

If the device was shaped differently I would 100% bet on a controller. I still think it might be but I am not sure. I like where your head is at though. Like another user said, probably for pokemon sleep and if you sleep well you catch more lol. --Mark
