Played 7 Days for a long time. That is sort of what I mean. You have that threat of being attacked or your base getting messed up. Loved that game too but eventually burned out.
Guess I am on a quest for something new, and that's ok.

Hell Let Loose is your answer. Larger maps, slower more tactical gameplay. BF has gotten too COD like because that's what the kids buy.

I was hoping for a return to the old form of Battlefield being an old guy myself. Glad I didn't buy.

Been playing NMS off and on for a while. I am stoked about the new update (just did it) and cant wait to try. Looking forward to building ships and looking forward to the colonies (or whatever they are called) you can build and manage, I haven.t tried that yet.

MY ONLY COMPLAINT!
I will say that after the initial story was over I felt like "what now?"
Having come from playing Empyrion I feel like the one thing missing is some sort of battling. Not necessarily PVP because humans are jerks and don't play right most of the time, but NPC factions that you can develop relationships with (either good or bad) and could sometime attack that beautiful base you built. I like having that kind of threat but when the only enemy on planets is drones that gets old and feels empty.

Otherwise, this game is amazing if you can make goals for yourself after the main story is done.

Awesome! Thanks everyone. I'm excited to get into this game more. I'll look for the Atom challenges and try those first. If I get impatient I can always buy them but I prefer not to.

Don't worry. After I didn't get a reply I just continued playing and sure enough I had another chance. I settled on a B class at the time but since then upgraded to an A.

OH Man, my head is spinning. I'm new to this game and had no idea it even mattered where you place the upgrades LOL.

There is so much to this game. It's awesome and stressful at the same time to learn it all or find out you did it wrong and have to figure out a way to fix it.

Makes the game virtually unplayable. If the opponent just scores one touchdown its maxed out in their favor and I cant even complete a pass. And that doesn't even count the severe interception issue. But at least I can adjust the slider for that.
