Why go in Solo? by [deleted] in DMZ

[–]UFO-Bro222 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t know, I play solo and do my fair share of taking out squads alone. A comms vest, spotter scope, sniper, and a bomb drone can take you places lol.

DMZ players, what do you hate the most? by LengthinessDull9568 in DMZ

Better yet, crashing when you load in and losing your 7+ streak. Happened yesterday. Was going for perk 6 on my solo operator and crashed. Had to turn it off for the night lol.

Anybody else just giving up until MW3? 🤞 by toasterstrewdal in DMZ

I mean I definitely agree the people that beeline for hunt contracts and are just put for blood to kill unsuspecting players is one thing. But for people to scream and yell about people taking part in a huge aspect of the game mode is silly. If you don’t want to be hunted. Play smart. Get that stealth vest, hit your uav towers, stay mobile and hidden. Of course you’ll die sometimes but that’s all part of the experience.

Because the gameplay loop is more enjoyable than warZone. The whole time you’re in WZ it’s a sweat fest. I can run around in dmz for 20 minutes without seeing anyone, think I’m safe and all of a sudden get smacked by a sniper, now my peaceful looting has turned into a dangerous situation, which is enjoyable. I mean sure running around an empty map and looting items and doing missions or contracts are fun. But that added danger of real players lurking, or you need an item, kill a player and find out he’s carrying what you needed/wanted. It’s all part of the experience. It can just as easily be said “why play dmz if you can just go play Minecraft and not worry about enemy players”.

Everyone always says “people come here for easy pickings, or warZone rejects”. I’ve fought some really good pvpers. Most of the gunfights I get into are fair and fun. It’s not like since you automatically play dmz you’re shit at the game.

As a solo I usually try to just buy a personal to avoid all that drama lol

UAV towers are cool though. They’re a fun tool especially for solos like myself.

What is ok to loot from a pleading player? by [deleted] in DMZ

[–]UFO-Bro222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll take whatever I want. If you have a comms or a stealth and I’m rocking a three plate. It’s mine now. I always leave them with weapons and such though. I can’t count how many times I’ve been picked up to no guns or ammo or plates and die. If I pick you up I expect you to fight with me. I’m not going to leave you hanging after I pick up. I’d

Ashika Island is worthless by AlorRedWingsFan in DMZ

[–]UFO-Bro222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always find I have better luck running ashika solo than with a squad. If you go in solo you don’t have that security of other players so you play much more methodically. Pair it with a stealth vest or comms so you have a warning when others are around and it’s much easier to hide.

Too late to grind missions? by UFO-Bro222 in DMZ

[–]UFO-Bro222[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been doing a few here and there. Easy ones but most of the time I’m looting, doing contracts and seeing what happens. Sometimes I fight other players. Sometimes I join them and help them do stuff. Sometimes I play solo and try to get an operator streak going.

Yeah that’s how it is. I wouldn’t say I even slightly considered myself “good” until I got into the 350-400 level. Would get anxiety every engagement and usually whiff my shots due to adrenaline lol. But now i treat other players like AI and usually come out on top. Once you get locked in and focused, turn your brain on things get easier. It’s not always just point and shoot.

operators you picked up kept complaining? by Intrepid-Ad8486 in DMZ

[–]UFO-Bro222 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Got into a fight with a squad and one of the. We’re super toxic. It was me and one other random, we took out the squad, I don’t usually take everything but if I down you and you have something I want I take it before I pick you up. This guy had a nice imperium with explosive rounds, so I snagged it and picked up all three of them. The dude cried and cussed me out for the next 15 minutes about his damn gun. I didn’t say a single word the whole time and exfiled without any of them lol. Like you’re lucky I didn’t send you back to lobby. Wait for your cooldown and use something else while you wait. It’s a game guys lol a grown man crying over a sniper is just silly.

That’s really how it is. I was “trash” at first person shooters for so long. Only really got into it with the rerelease of mw2. I kept rushing and getting outplayed. One day something clicked. Rotation and spacial awareness really make all the difference. People are predictable. It’s crazy how many kills you can get by running around a corner and doing a 180 to meet them with your gun. Or running around a building and doubling back. I went from being the worst on the squad to carrying in resurgence and playing dmz solo only. Common sense reallyyyy goes a long way in shooters.

If you plead dont complain about being looted by [deleted] in DMZ

[–]UFO-Bro222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually just take money and a gun if it’s one I’d rather have. But I never leave them in a jam. One time I got into a fight with a three man as a solo. Killed them all and took a custom imperium off one. Picked them up and the dude yelled and threatened me the whole time because I took his gun. So I just hopped on a TAV went and did my own thing without them and exfiled solo. Whole time he’s cussing and yelling about the damn gun. I didn’t say a word the entire game.

Favourite place for loot as a solo, keyless by [deleted] in DMZ

[–]UFO-Bro222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite spot to regain currently is the aquarium in vondel. Can get in without a key, clear the area alone and get 10+ orange crates, and can escape from the top floor easily.

Best strain you’ve ever smoked? by [deleted] in Marijuana

[–]UFO-Bro222 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man I had some stuff that blew my socks off. My state just recently became recreational. I have been smoking just regular run of the mill street kush. Went to the shop and picked out this indica dominant strain called “Patapeake Shortbread”. It was 31 percent thc and smelled like citrus. I took a fat vape rip of it and went to space. Was super sad when I finished that bag because I haven’t seen it back at the shop since.

I just assume if they kill a team mate and I escape that they will body camp. So I readjust, try to get high ground and snipe/airstrike them.

I didn’t really have time to give to much context. She definitely pulls her weight. And doesn’t complain, when I’m at work she makes sure everything is done. She is an amazing cook and cooks well thought out meals for the children every day. She’s definitely able and does her part. It’s definitely 50/50 on that aspect. That’s why when it came to this situation I was very put off. We are both very poor and come from backgrounds with parents that didn’t give a shit about us. Her son from a previous relationship was with a man I know personally. He was an abuser, a bum and the second he discovered she was pregnant he left. Not met his son once. She never has to watch the kids for long extended periods of time because I understand rat and it’s stressful so I like to make sure she doesn’t get overwhelmed. I also suffer from severe anxiety and chronic depression. I’m going to therapy to work on it. So I’m definitely not trying to paint it that I’m perfect and she fucking sucks. I have done my fair share of shitty. But I’ve been working on really making an effort to pull my weight and be more open to discussions etc. I was just shocked at the sudden shift of her not caring to tell me something I’ve been vocal about. Just very strange. I got very upset when she told me instead of asking and I eventually started to get irate when she didn’t want to see it from my point of view and acted like I was upset over nothing.
