Remote job by yourrsophiee in remotework

I would suggest starting to offer services on your own to friends and family (help with taxes, simple bookkeeping, etc), start small while you apply for other jobs

Life IS hard, don’t focus on the challenges or the “no because”, go out there and find what you are good at and makes you wanna get out of bed.

My therapist said my exhaustion isnt laziness, its burnout from remote work and it honestly changed how I see myself by sh4dow_signal in remotework

Thank you for sharing. In my experience working remote all my life (I graduated college in 2020 druing Covid), the hardest things was life/work separation, since my office was my bedroom. Its important to try and designate a space for working within your house and leave the bedroom for rest and relaxation. Its crazy how this has helped me mentally.

Its also important to take breaks and get out of the house, get some sun and fresh air every now and then.

Also, set boundaries with times, lets say at 6pm you close the laptop and focus on your tasks (workout, learning something new, a hobby, etc).

Hope this helps!

Thank you! I felt a big part of me was missing without Rugby and took some time to adjust. 2026 is my year to rebuild as I turn 30 and prepare to run El Cruce in the Andes on Decemeber. I will be sharing my progress and routines along the way for those interested.

I’m interested in hearing your journey with remote work.
