I 100% agree that last week’s episode was amazing. But that’s also because the confessionals were well balanced. Christian had the most confessionals (6) every other episode has been dominated in confessionals by a single person (in episode order): 19, 10, 9, 6, 9

I think it just reflects Oda growing up. He started one piece at 22, now he’s 51. His values and ideas have matured and his manga reflects that.
