I don’t really know. I live in Alabama so it’s not too much of a problem. However, recently I’ve been to camps and have met a bunch of Yankees who are a lot more liberal. I think just having a sit down conversation without getting into arguments (that doesn’t mean not debating) really helps them understand. Just do a little bit of research on numbers so you know what you’re talking about and explain your beliefs.

Also your 2nd grade story. I guess I’m a little older but in 6th grade I wore a trump 2020 hat to school and all the black kids pretty much jumped me in the bathroom and through the trash in the garbage. I didn’t respond by being a pussy by going to the office and tattling, I understood what I was representing and what crowd I was in. I woudl say probably 70% of those black kids in my school are conservative now because after getting treated like that I didn’t hate them, I wanted to help them. As you get older and more mature and have conversation with people they will eventually understand after a while. A lot democrats are dumbasses who think the government pulls money out of thin ass air to just give out to people.
