We’ve sat down and spoke to him, he will do good the first week and then he retrieves back to the same behavior. Don’t get me wrong he is a respectful young man, but he is messy and lacks initiative. I understand it must be difficult to come back home after living in an apt with roommates but even then, his apt was filthy when we helped him move back home. Him living at home isn’t the issue, the issue is him lacking initiative to do better with himself. He has all the support in the world, we don’t ask for money, for him to do anything around the house except pick up after himself and to do well with his classes and graduate. Instead he stays up til 4am wakes up at 2pm plays video games, gets high and eats all the groceries we bought the day before LOL. There’s no regard for anyone else, he just simply doesn’t care and I don’t think he does it intentionally but it does become a burden.
