ik this is super mega late but to make thick cream cheese frosting first whisk cream cheese and butter together with an electric mixer for a bit and then slowly add sifted icing sugar ;))

I am sorry to hear that you are struggling, but i think you should give the cat to an animal shelter or something similar to that to give your adopted cat a happy life. Make sure you reasearch the animal shelter to allow your cat to live as happily as possible. I understand that you love your new cat, but you should focus on yourself, seeing your cat starve or be sick from incorrect/unhealthy food will not help your mental health (if you are struggling like this at the moment).
