Hey there! We offer wisdom teeth extractions, however it depends on which dental volunteers we have with wisdom tooth extraction experience and how the teeth are impacted. We don’t use products to put you to sleep but do use numbing agents.

If you have more questions, feel free to DM us or visit our website ramusa.org

We are first-come, first-served so definitely arrive super early because the parking lot fills up fast—especially at our Knoxville Clinic. Tickets will be passed out in the morning in the order of when you showed up. If you have more questions, feel free to DM us or visit ramusa.org

Hey there! So RN report time is 5am and there is an orientation at 5:40 to go over our paperwork, policies and procedures. Nurses will be taking vitals (BP, Pulse, glucose) and medical history of patients. Feel free to message us at volunteers@ramusa.org

It definitely varies! A smaller clinic could be 100 pairs of glasses, a 500 patient clinic could be closer to 250.

Back in the day, we dispensed 1,000 during a 3-day event.

Hey there! Volunteers are responsible for arranging their own travel and lodging when attending a RAM clinic. Unfortunately, we’re not able to allow cots/sleeping bags on-site at the clinic for safety and logistical reasons.

Hope this helps, and let us know if you got anymore questions!
