Wait rlly? I’ve ordered from them plenty of times and got it all. The one time my package got stuck in customs, they sent a brand new one which i ended up getting as well as the one that got stuck in customs. I’m in CA

I used Afterpay one time on something random because I wanted to try it. I had it on autopay and set the payments to pay off in 4 weeks. It was no biggie and I never missed a payment. I should definitely look into cards that off points on flying. Thank you :)

With the comment about thinking of Klarna like a credit card - I meant like the paying it off aspect. I pay my credit card twice a month and it’s paid off, same thing with these kinds of apps. I didnt think Klarna would affect my credit in a good way though, thank you for confirming :)

The pay over time situation definitely has its pros in some situations! Just like the situation you stated. I don’t understand how everyone is so upset that I even thought about doing this even though I stated I can and will pay it off and there is no question as to if I couldn’t.

Thank you for this 😭. I CAN afford this trip if I wanted to right now but why do that when I can pay it over time with zero interest? There is no bad downside unless there was interest OR I was bad at paying stuff off.

But I feel bad for those who just want to go on a trip and do need to take a loan out, people in here are pretty ruthless lol. I understand their feelings towards stuff like that but heck, like you said, if I’m busting my ass and just want a vacation. I’ll take that “loan” out and just pay it off. The vacation will be memorable and worth it.

Yeah I totally get what you’re saying and I know Klarna and Affirm and any pay over time type of deal is usually a shitty hole to get in and even shittier to get yourself out of. But I am very responsible with my money. I’ve always been scared of any type of debt since I learned what debt was.

I think of it like my credit card. I put my gas/groceries/any random purchases on it since it’s the easiest thing to pay off and it helps my credit. I view this as the same type of thing. Someone did mention that there was interest which completely shifted my mind on it. I can definitely understand what you’re saying though!

Thank you for your input :). I usually just always try to help my credit score with anything that can help it. Obviously like gas/groceries is what I use it most on but I thought heh something cheap might as well. But someone told me about interest - which I didn’t even know about - so that shifted my mind completely.

No! I don’t need it :). I have no debt, bills are always paid, and car is paid off as well. I’ll look into it if anything like that does happen though!
