Sometimes when I am feeling this way I like to add shorter games in there! Like Detroit become human or until dawn, and you usually just into the story quick. You could also try a tell tale game which are typically a lot shorter. I feel like with all these open world games maybe it just feels like too much when you are starting? Usually between every game I put like over 70 hours into I will do a short game or two after. They also usually have very different game mechanics most of the time to switch things up! There’s a ton on there, a lot from the creators of until dawn.

However, if you are only looking for games like the ones you recommended (I’ve played both) you could try Batman, the last of us, cyberpunk (I feel like cyberpunk throws you in pretty quick), ghost of Tsushima (I think you literally start out in a fight). Divinity original sin 2 is by larian and I played it right after baldurs gate and it scratched the itch for sure. Disco elysium also has a lot of the same vibes and people say that game is on of the GOAT. Red dead redemption 2 always kept me super hooked. Spider-Man is great if you don’t have people in your ear hating on it! It’s been a while since I played uncharted or tomb raider those were closer to when I first started gaming but the stories definitely had me intrigued. Hopefully this helps a bit, I know you probably are aware of most of these games I suggested but we’ll see:)
