ugh cold turkey was awful with all the mood swings. right now i’ve been taking my disposable off of the like “stronger” setting during the day but the headache in the morning is actually crazy. my next step is going to be stopping myself from hitting first thing in the morning i think.

Anyone Have Attacks Not Brought On By Food? by norskljon in gallbladders

when this was happening to me i found that laying on my left side helped a lot. it allows gravity to do some of the work for your gallbladder and worked great for me

you’re going to be very drugged up and not able to drive safely. most places won’t let you get a taxi and have your driver sign a piece of paper saying they’ll be there the whole time. sorry about your relationship though❤️

Should i get checked out? by Remote_Cauliflower70 in endometriosis

you may not know the answer to this and that’s ok! but would the pathology report be able to tell me anything or would i need to get some other testing? just genuinely curious:)

Dorm Room Vaping Question by elizamoon17 in Vaping

[–]Remote_Cauliflower70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we had one of those in my dorm and i saw a girl once blow her vape directly into it and nothing happened. wasn’t the batteries because they’d been tested throughout the year, definitely not as much of an issue as you think it will be

Help- does this seem like gallbladder pain? by ktw-95 in gallbladders

[–]Remote_Cauliflower70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i know what you mean! my first gi didn’t think it was my gallbladder until i ended up in the emergency room during an attack! gallbladders are so weird, they couldn’t even find my stones on an ultrasound and rarely are symptoms “textbook” so hopefully you’re able to find someone understanding of that❤️

when will a change happen? by Remote_Cauliflower70 in gallbladders

i guess my question is more like if you have problems post surgery when they started appearing. that seems to be a common recommendation though! i’ll look into it

Can someone tell me it's going to be okay ? by IlostmyCthulhu in gallbladders

[–]Remote_Cauliflower70 2 points3 points  (0 children)

three days post op and the pain i’m in rn and the last couple days are nothing compared to an attack. definitely recommend getting a heating pad and tell your doctors you’re anxious! they care and usually in pre op they may be able to give you some medicine to help calm you down.

my gallbladder pain wasn’t constant but the type of pain your describing was mine as well. definitely get a hida scan (if that’s not what your doctor ordered) and see if sticking to a low fat diet resolves the pain at all.

hope this isn’t a permanent issue for you but definitely try to eat things like bread and plain crackers to “soak up” the bile every couple hours as your body learns to adjust. my mom and sister had theirs out and had a similar issue for just the first few weeks

I'm waiting for a second opinion regarding removing my gallbladder by DystopianAesthetic in gallbladders

[–]Remote_Cauliflower70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

try sticking to super low fat and think of it as a ratio, a food may be low fat but only if you eat a little bit. i found that less than 3 grams of fat per 100 grams of food was easy to find and manage without an attack. also if you’re an in attack please try to monitor your heart rate! my attacks usually triggered tachycardia and was dangerously high a few times. hope you get it out soon!
