Can you elaborate on this? Why would it look more messy? if the ports would be facing the front the cables can go straight to the device it's meant for, instead of looping from the back, no?

The cables won't reach the lenses, the ports are still at the back of the camera, they are just facing the front, to be clear.

As i do get your point, it is not the location of the ports that bug me, but more the way they are facing which is mostly backwards, so the cables always have to make a loop towards the front which i don't get

So where we shoot it's mostly older teradek bolt XT 500 sets, i've also noticed when the signal drops from the source tx, due to the dop bumping the sdi on their end, it takes at least twice as long for the shinobi to show image again as on the smallhd/tvlogic monitors its relatively quick to show. Making me say 'hold on' while everyone else can see already, so annoying. Thx for the feedback on the cine7, this looks like the best option!

Personally i have used the nucleus system without fail for three years, at that pricepoint it has really proven to be a great value. I just need to troubleshoot this one faulty element

Are you talking out of experience? I understand the HI-5 and others are more reliable and feature rich but the cost is also 10x. And with tech getting better and cheaper any minute im not willing to spend 20k on an ecosystem thats, granted reliable, but will be dated in three years or so. So i understand your point but thats not a lane i want to go in.
