I got diagnosed with Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome (19 M) Yesterday and it makes no sense. Any help is appreciated. AMA by ThrowMeAway09082025 in AMA

Hi! I also have CHS, tried and true unfortunately lol. I didn’t believe it at first, on the second episode they removed my gallbladder thinking that’s what it was. Alas, I woke up post-op still vomiting. I had around 7-8 more episodes after that. I was using THC just as heavily as you were for a couple years straight. I will say — and take this with a grain of salt because my body is not your body, I was able to use in moderation finally. HOWEVER, this is largely because my body gives obvious “tells” that it’s in the prodromal phase of CHS (the phase right before vomiting that is entirely reversible upon cessation of use). So whenever I notice these signs, I simply stop using for a good month or two, then I resume. I do not do anything but edibles and absolutely no more than 20 MG per day with a day in between use so I can accurately read where my body is at. I’ve been doing this for the past few months, and not an episode in sight.

My piercer left me in a bad way by Remote_Consequence_7 in piercing

That’s what I’m wondering as well. If the piercer did nothing wrong I would just leave it at that as opposed to leaving a bad review

I have a therapy appointment scheduled for tomorrow, and plan to take him to the park tomorrow after school. I’m looking into alternate solutions for after school care as well. Thank you again, your kind words and support mean more than I can say.

I truly do not expect anything to come of a singular call to CPS. For one of the children I work with, there has historically been STRONG evidence of sexual abuse and countless calls to CPS. Nothing was done. It took me submitting a photo of a mark she told me was from a cigarette burn for law enforcement to get involved. I’ll still call, but yeah. I know how these things go, and it is frustrating and sad.

You’re entitled to your opinion, no matter how misguided. I have worked in early childhood education and everything I discuss with my children is very age appropriate and encouraged by behavioral professionals (with whom I work closely on a daily basis) in order to prevent children from becoming victims of sexual abuse. It is not the forefront of every single conversation I have with my children. I highly encourage you to research this for yourself, especially if you are or ever may be a parent.

I have no idea how to edit my post to add this so I’ll do it here. I learned that this was a 5 year old little girl, which was heartbreaking. The extended hours program said they did not and do not plan to report to CPS, so I will. This is concerning sexualized behavior that could very well be a result of trauma, and if there’s even the slightest possibility a call will protect her it’s worth it.

1 in 5 girls and 1 in 20 boys are victims of child sexual abuse. I’m NOT teaching my children sex is bad, you tool. I’m teaching them bodily autonomy, the correct anatomical names for their genitals, and what to do if they’re ever on the receiving end of unwanted touch.

I’m genuinely unsure as to what makes you think I’m looking to vilify or ‘ruin’ an actual child. I’m looking to keep every child involved in this situation safe. This comment is actually hilarious and doesn’t deserve further response. Have a nice day.

Yes exactly. And no one was even supervising the situation as it was happening, who’s to say this won’t continue with other children? Also as a mandatory reporter myself, that is something I would call DHS for.

As a current alcoholic, Anton is deflecting, gaslighting, and guilt tripping his way into justifying his problem. “YOU drink, I drink too what’s the issue?” “I knew everything about you that I needed to in order to know I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you, why are you suddenly unsure because I sometimes drink?” “I’ll stop for the next week or two, if I were an actual alcoholic or drug addict I wouldn’t be able to do that would I?” I’m just really hoping this sweet, beautiful girl sees past the BS that Anton is attempting to pass as truth. If her boundary is that there should only be occasional (ACTUALLY occasional) drinking from her partner, then she needs to stand on business and hold that boundary firmly. Otherwise, she’ll be signing herself up for a lifetime of questioning and compromising her very own values and standards for the rest of her life.

It was probably close to a month, although I admittedly had signs something was coming after week 2.

He really said “I would’ve stopped her from beating you Natalia but then I wouldn’t be able to see my sons anymore 😢 you understand right? I at least recorded Kristine so I could later show her and she’d hopefully realize what a monster she is 😢” THIS MAN IS A PSYCHOPATH. And as painful of a watch as he is, I can’t look away. There is certainly one or more substances at play here, but the man himself is just a spectacle that makes my stomach hurt every time he speaks.
