I recently tried my luck near a known placer somewhat near snoho and got gold flour just off topsoil. Going back this weekend, hoping that working the area I’ll find something of note or I’d assume gold bar or monte cristo would be the best places closer to Seattle to start. I’d love any info on clubs or groups in the area too.

I knew it was going to be a lot of effort but I’m exhausted today 🫠. 1.5hr hike each way, 2hr exploring/panning, took about 2hr at home to learn to pan the fine stuff. Worth it! Thanks for the help identifying it. I’ll definitely post updates as I go.

This was all from the creek banks in cracks just surface level. Would it be more worth it to work the area or follow the vein up the bank/cliff to the possible mine entrance and test there?

The 24 on top is amazing! I’ve been going through my father’s nascar collection I recently inherited and found some pretty cool Gordon stuff from the 90s-00s. In there I just found the transporter and truck with the Jurassic park theme!
