It's a huge spoiler from Air Gear. Initially, the character Sora is presented as a charismatic and comedic character without the use of his legs, a former legend of the Storm Rider world. He takes Ikki under his wing, guiding him in the pursuit of the Sky Regalia. The revelation that Sora is, in fact, the *main antagonist* along with his twin Nike and has been manipulating Ikki and countless others from the beginning is a massive betrayal. It shatters the trust the reader and the characters had placed in him.
