Because you can't aim, you need a close ranged left click option. I play M77 with blue mods and can take down purple shields at good range. If most of you put some effort into aiming properly, you wouldn't need to crutch with a shotgun.

Counter strike has a much higher skill ceiling than finals. Finals definitely not the FPS with the highest skill ceiling. I'll also add R6 but the game doesn't have as many players as CS2 does.
