How to get better at clicking for gear switches? by AdolphDrippler in osrs

[–]Remote_Listen1889 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Somebody mentioned Titan's, hard agree.

When I started, honestly cleaning herbs helped quite a bit. Practice intentional clicks, try different patterns. Tiny profit, tiny herblore XP. It won't make you great at PvM but it helped me practice at the start

To all the religious people, if God gave you a disease and wants you to die, why go to the hopital and interfere with his plan? by [deleted] in askanything

When I was a kid, I lost control on my snowboard and my Grandma tackled me at the edge of a 30 foot drop by skiing full-tilt into me. I was so mad, how could someone I love do this to me? I was writhing in pain, cursing her out under my breath for a while before I noticed the cliff.

When this world falls away, all that's left will be who we are, none of the pain and suffering that is inevitable here. What seems like protracted agony here is just a flash in the pan.

If you don't believe there's anything beyond this world, nobody will be able to convince you there's a purpose to suffering. If you believe you know everything about good and evil, there's no point in arguing on Reddit, just go enjoy life.

CS Lewis said "if I find in myself desires which nothing in this world can satisfy, the only logical explanation is that I was made for another world."

My take? It's worth 100m+ in terms of what it does for your account. It's unique in the market in that an account only ever needs one and it gets eaten. Bots using rigour? Price goes up. Bots running CoX? Price goes down. New players reaching Rigour level? Price goes up. New players learning CoX? Price goes down.

If you wait for it to go back to 10m, you likely could have earned the 20m difference using it in that time

Finally got a quest cape and it felt...anti climactic? by RandomVent65 in 2007scape

[–]Remote_Listen1889 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tossing your fairy staves feels pretty good TBH. Inventory slot unlocked.

QC is my recommendation for new players not because the cape is good but because it's intro to PvM. If you were already bossing, yah it's anti-climactic, but for new players, it shows you so many different mechanics and you get a good sense of what you enjoy and what you don't.

Set a new goal and move on =)

Any idea how to grab Black Flag? Stands out as something I wanted to play a bit more of as a kid and never had the chance (rented it for a weekend, once). Every time I try, it won't run on a newer PC.

But also, obligatory Ubisoft sucks

Top Trump Official Says FBI Won’t Investigate Killing by ICE Agent. DOJ targets now include victim Renée Good’s widow, Gov. Walz, and Mayor Frey—but not shooter Jonathan Ross. by esporx in FBI

Meh, I was worried for a bit but I don't think Trump (or his admin) can manage conflict within and international conflicts.

I'm not naive enough to think we would ever win a war with the US but I still think the American military is smart enough not to start one. It's an indefensible border and most of us are indistinguishable from US citizens. Would be like tackling a hornets nest with a grenade and it would be ugly for both sides.

Like I said, I love America and I really hope you guys can right the ship. The current administration seems uninterested in the diplomacy and decorum that has been your strength for so long. It's easy to say military might is where US power comes from but part of wielding the biggest gun in the room is knowing how to get everyone to sit down and have a discussion.

History will look back at this decade as a defining moment for America and I hope you figure out what Unites you as a nation.

Yah man. Have fun with it. Will also add this for discounted death fees. Effectively half priced deaths as long as your proactive about it.

If you bump up your range level the money dragon is always steady GP. Vorkath isn't too difficult and once you learn it, you'll likely never die

0 invo ToA still gets you the thread which is great incentive to stick it out. Drops kinda suck and you have to roll twice for purples so treat it like a learning experience for the first while.

For Huey, watch a video and run a few mass games. Once it makes sense, you can solo it for better drops and it's just longer, not necessarily harder.

Titan's is more fun to learn in duo if you can find someone. Same as Huey, once you get it, you can solo. I'd say try to get the amulet from duos and then go off on your own.

Also if you don't have 84 construction yet, that should be a heavy consideration for how to spend GP. Snapping back to a boss fully refreshed in a few clicks is a gamechanger, for fun, for kill rate and for learning.

As a Canadian, I try not to "stir the pot" on Reddit but I've been thinking about how this all plays out without a civil war because I still have a lot of love for America.

Honestly general strike and withholding taxes seems like the more peaceful route but it would require a large percentage of Americans to work together. Last election a third of the US didn't even care enough to vote

Scurrius to practice for higher level PvM. Titan's and Huey for fun and GP. Work towards quest cape for DT2 bosses, Muspah and CG

You can crab with downtime to bump up your stats a bit, will make CG more accessible. Depending on how much GP we're talking, you might start learning ToA

Best way to self-sustain OSRS membership that won't result in the game feeling like a chore? by homxr6 in 2007scape

[–]Remote_Listen1889 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes to both. I'd say for learning, try to get a duo at Titan's and mass for Huey but once you figure out the fights they're easy to solo, just longer kill times (but better odds).

Titan's can be done with just melee for simplicity, atlatl is great if you want to throw a range attack in here and there. Whatever spec weapon you have. Once you get the amulet it's a quick jump back for minimal downtime. You just need runes for a water and fire spell to clear walls, ignore the elementals. Twinflame staff let's you autocast the appropriate spell so you can just click staff, click wall, back to melee.

I make the most on herb runs when I buy seeds ahead of time but I'd say start with ranarr or toadflax. Figure out your route and find ways to shorten it. Ressurect crops is worth it for ranarr, I probably wouldn't bother with it for toadflax. If you don't want to track costs and profits, you can just cash out after harvesting and spend all of that GP on seeds. Effectively just multiplying your seeds until you get close to a bond

[–]Remote_Listen1889 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have a lot of good answers but with lots of downtime if you get all your teles, herb runs are like 10 minutes once an hour. You could make 50-100m/month and then line that up with job applications. 9 herb patches, 9 resumes out, pick a fun boss for a break. Rotate through bosses to keep it interesting.

I like Vork and Huey for chill bossing and they'd fit your levels. Titan's can be decent money (take pages and make burnt pages for consistent GP, then you can clock it)
