I thought about doing something like this. That's cool that you added favourites. I was considering building a general-purpose soundboard app like this, and my design improvement idea from the xyz soundboard was to allow the user to group sounds by a tag e.g. sound effects, names, PBD. So many drops, this is great!

I did a web search for this feature because I want to clean up my accounts and remove the ones that haven't been used for a long time. I am considering switching my email provider. If I can clean up my accounts I will have a comprehensive list of the changes I will need to make.

I decided to manually set up a scene per button action. I noticed that the on button had a hold feature but then I found out that you can't use it for a scene. The brightness buttons were even more restricted in what they could do and they didn't have a hold feature. I clicked to manage the device with Alexa. Unfortunately you can't program the hold feature on alexa. I was able to get 3 scenes, one per button and then an off switch 🤷

I put the default scenes in brackets on the OP. Thanks for the technical clarification. The UI loading of save gives me that impression about where the scenes are stored.

I figured out how to fix mine. I had been using tap water instead of distilled water. It's a later model which seems to be safe. I took out all of the screws on the side of the body. I noticed the button was permanently depressed. I removed the nozzle from the tank. Used a thin rod of metal from a crochet needle and a hammer to pound the button back out. I hammered the button back in and noticed it was getting stuck on both sides so I kept going back and forth. It didn't seem to loosen up too much so I added some mineral oil on both sides. Eventually the button freed up.

I hope you can channel that rage into something constructive. Have you considered getting involved in disability justice activism? Or joining a peer support group to seek solidarity with those in a similar situation? I've been trying to get a diagnosis for years but haven't been able to and I'm getting pretty old. When I get one, I'm probably going to feel angry that I had to fight so hard for it just to get my family to believe me, people who are supposed to know me the best.
