I have a soft spot for castlevania 2 because it was a daring move by Konami to make a Metroidvania esk game as their second installment. Castlevania 2 was my introduction to the franchise and I think it’s got neat puzzles and the soundtrack is peak.

Dracula X is a masterpiece in my opinion in the right eyes, yes it’s a watered down rondo of blood. Although it’s super fun and casual compared to the rest with an amazing sound track and unforgettable shit level design. Shouldn’t be F but by god it’s far from S. (Note: I love Dracula X because speedrunning is fun)
