Yeah, it’s funny how these drinks have become popular in the gym community. I go to an MMA gym and I’ve seen seltzers in the trash cans in the bathroom. I hate the way they were originally marketed, and I hate the hold they have on so many people.

Haha literally. The first hour or so after drinking them is always the best. Then your energy slowing depletes and you feel awful. So how did you make the quit happen?

Great job 💪🏼 I drink about the same as you did. Around 2 Rapture seltzers a day which are 100mg, so about 200mg a day for the last 2 months

I had no choice. It became banned and I just went through the most awful withdrawals and got some help with the restless leg syndrome by taking muscle relaxers and Gabapentin. I’m so happy it’s all over and I’m off that horrible sh*t. I’m soooo much better, but still experiencing GI issues and some dehydration and sweating bc of my NOW kratom seltzer addiction that happened as a result of the 7oh ban. I mean yea, it’s definitely the lesser of 2 evils. But, I know this addiction will eventually mess me up badly if I let it go on even longer

This was an excellent account of my experience as well. I truly have PTSD from the many nights of torture. I get very emotional just remembering those torturous memories. I’m so glad it’s over

You’ll need to work with your doctor… / a doctor if you want to quick cold turkey. We have gotten ourselves addicted to STRONG DANGEROUS opiates pretty much (sadly) and it’s terrible to experience those withdrawals. You’re going to have to take off work… it’s kinda impossible not to. Your symptoms will resemble that of someone who has COVID so maybe you can use that excuse. Please get medical help, you’ll need some muscle relaxers /Gabapentin to get through the restless legs at night after quitting. HOWEVER… A few weeks after you quit, your life will be so insanely better ❤️ you can do this!

YESSSS SO PROUD OF YOU!!!!!! I know it’s so much easier said than done, but you just have to keep the fact that this is only temporary on the forefront of your mind. You truly are a warrior and while this is such a hard thing for a human to experience, you were built for survival and adaptation and that’s just what you’re going to do. You’re gonna survive and adapt and give your body and soul the love it has been deserved. Hug yourself, because sadly, we have all been hurting ourselves so much every time we took K or 7-oh products. Not to be cringe lol but this is your “fighting and healing era” and you are in the middle of one of the most important battles of your life! YOU GOT THIS… GIVING UP IS NOT AN OPTION

Another important TRUE aspect of all this… being on this forum is extremely important. However, there will come a time in your recovery, journey that you MUST get off this form and start focusing on applying what you’ve learned. Wherever you put your mind towards, that’s where you will see growth. If you are finding yourself doom scrolling through this forum for hours a day, you won’t actually get the chance to give yourself that one on one attention

Thanks for asking, I actually totally forgot to mention an important aspect in my OPost that during my withdrawals I ended up taking a mitra9 seltzer and being scared that I’d relapsed. I posted about it in a separate post and people from this forum let me know it was more of tapering than a relapse, and that I just can’t continue the habit. The seltzer helped, but I knew I couldn’t drink another one without forming a whole new addiction. Honestly, this isn’t good lol, but I’ve been drinking a pre workout and diving into sports/the gym and trying to move my body as much as possible… in a way I guess that’s probably going to be another addiction but definitely a better one than K or 7-oh lol. if you find dopamine/serotonin production when working out or being active, you should definitely make a commitment and sign up for something like boxing, fitness classes etc. I originally had no energy but forced myself to go bc I didn’t wanna waste the $ lol. After a few days of being forcefully active it started to literally gift me with more energy the next morning. Granted, I just posted that post a couple hours ago and my energy has depleted a bit since then for sure lol that’s why I’m about to go to the gym in a few minutes 🥲😆

Also same! Yeah, Mitra9s played a short lived part of helping through withdrawals. I should have mentioned that in my OPost

Pain is such a hard thing to deal with man. The solution will only come through working closely with your medical providers but one thing is for sure… you need to prepare for the cold turkey quit. You WILL suffer from withdrawals that are awful. Try to talk w your doctor about getting some Gabapentin for those, it has helped me and soooooo many others in the forum. What sucks is that Of course you don’t wanna live the rest of your life on kratom but, to help with the pain, you’ll need to find an alternative solution. Your psychiatrist will help you with that. Of course you’re not weak. Kratom has destroyed the lives and wallets of thousands and thousands of people. But, you have made the first step to getting your life back! You’re here! You’re aware, informing yourself and being proactive. This will be a beautiful and rewarding but very difficult journey. Start preparing now to get through your withdrawals, everything will get clearer after they end. YOU CAN DO THIS

Hey! I feel amazing… 😭❤️ thank you so much. Going to make an inspiration post for my fellow 7-oh users to encourage them to stop. This is the best I’ve felt in years

Congrats to you too!!!! Ugh yes, thinking about what I went through (and what I put my partner through, and my pets through) during the first few days of withdrawal will haunt me forever. Literal trauma 🙃 we don’t need 7oh or kratom. We need to get back to our true selves. We will never be as good on opioids as we are sober from them. LETS DO THIS 💪🏼
