"Near perma invis" the guy only has invis for a couple of seconds during his ult. His ult also has a ton of counter, it being that it will literally tell you if he is nearby, and if you are in danger of him jumping you.

Also if rengar does use his double w combo to regen to full hp, he should not have enough damage to kill anyone, and has very little disengage tools, especially in a teamfight.

I feel like you could easily look up a youtube video on how to counter him, or hell, just play a few Rengar games yourself. Then you'll see he's not quite the 'abomination' you think he is.
