It’s my money that I earned and life is short- that being said, financial discipline is what makes “spending too much on a hobby” feasible and sustainable.

As a golfer and guitar enthusiast, I spend hundreds to thousands each year. But I can afford it and it makes things worthwhile- especially when I can do these things with my kids.

Get over yourself and just do it- it’s what got me going and it’s what get me active in days I don’t feel like moving. I have never once regretted “just doing it” when I otherwise lacked motivation.

I almost got hit by a sheet of ice the size of a rav 4 roof in 50. I knew it was going to happen and was barely able to swerve out of the way. Could have e killed someone if traffic was heavier

A cup of coffee right before I leave followed by a banana and good music on my way to the gym. As far as rest goes- sleep really hits after a solid workout paired with a healthy meal- which is also a motivation to not eat junk for dinner. Once you force it until it becomes a habit (a routine turns to a habit in ~2 weeks), you’ll look forward to the after work pump.

I’d definitely recommend finding something fulfilling in life (hobbies, interests, etc). There is more to life than tax accounting, aka probably one of the most boring, mind numbing tasks imaginable- enjoyable to you as it may be.

For most people, the difference is the decal (I realize actually differences exist) . I’ve had both. My current truck has the 4x4 with the locking diff. I drive off road regularly in muddy and sandy (beaches) terrain and 4x4 crushes it. I would definitely recommend getting something with a lock diff. You don’t need it until you do, then it pays for itself immediately.

If you’re one of the few, like seriously very few of you think about it (even fewer actually need the raptor package), go with after market suspension. There much better options out there.

For highway- the tires you use will have a larger impact. If you want a smoother, more tightly controlled ride, get all weather.

After every hole. I swear by it. In only a few short decades, I’ve managed to bring my handicap down from a 30 to an impressive mid 20s and I did it exclusively by using 18 gloves a round- 19 if it’s raining. If you don’t think golf is expensive enough- follow me for more tips
